When we arrived, we went to our room which had peeling paint in the bathroom shower, broken door, a very loud squeaky bed when tried it out by sitting on it, and the room was dirty and in need of repairs. We went to the office to get another room. The next room we were given was not any better, but no rooms were available in the area, so we stuck it out as long as possible. "The only staff I encountered was at the reception desk, the lady there was friendly. But I was informed that they do not clean the rooms or empty trash etc and if I needed more towels to put the dirty ones outside my door and they would be replaced. The breakfast that was provided was terrible, everything was cold, the bagels were as hard as a rock, the staff was not accommodating. In our room the wallpaper was peeling, the bathroom was hardly big enough to turn around in. The drapes were...

"We were unprepared for the driving distance from our location BUT we loved it once we got there and wish we could have stayed several more days! The accommodation were clean , comfortable and unique with great ocean views and wonderful breakfast! The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating!!"

"Motel is very outdated and in need of many repairs. It was adequate for our one night stay. You truly get what you pay for. Thus the reason that the rooms are only half the price of other places near Bar Harbor he staff was friendly and helpful. The location was convenient and easy to get to"

"The standard single room was not worth what we paid. It was very small. Lighting was poor. No microvave. No clock. No table. No room to do anything. The room was so small, when the HVAC unit was running the noise was terrible, even when the fan was set on low. Same for the bathroom, very tiny. We were terribly disappointed. The room was clean."

"The location is great. The room and the grounds were very clean and well maintained. The room was basic and comfortable. If you are looking for fancy this isn’t the place. It met my needs and I would stay there again."
