"We had a fantastic stay, really appreciated the proximity to all sorts of fun family activities - we did the Mystery Cave Scenic Tour, our own Amish country driving tour (courtesy of the host supplied map), biked a ton, went to the community pool, did a few of the "nine hole" fishing spots in Preston (stop by Curt's and/or Driftless Flying Fishing for tips), and went for a tube float down the Root River with Root River Outfitters. House was clean, well supplied and in a great location. Host was...

"This is a great property. Peaceful, surrounded by fields & forests, birds singing, and fresh air. Wonderful parks and trails near by. Dan was a great host. I want to come back and stay in the fall and winter. This would also be a great place for a family get away"

"This property was amazing! We love everything about it. Uncle John was kind and helpful. The waterfall and property is magical. A very special place."

"Efficient check-in. I received a detailed message via VRBO from owner a few days before arrival. The email contained all the information regarding the rental and surrounding area. The directions to the rental made it easy to find. This rental is handicapped accessible with no entry stairs, first floor bedroom and bathroom with easy shower entry. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and enjoying the quiet seclusion. "

"The home was in a very quiet neighborhood, and easy access to Rochester. The kitchen had everything we needed……..except aluminum foil "

"You can’t beat this central location in downtown Lanesboro. Walking distance to absolutely everything. Spacious house with several beautiful outdoor seating arrangements. Private parking spaces in back or public spaces in front & across the street from the house made parking convenient. Very updated & modern interior finishes & appliances….and comfy beds too. Hosts Jim & Jill were very communicative. If we ever visit Lanesboro again, we’d book a stay here for sure. "
