"When you visit Halifax, stay in nearby Dartmouth at Windmill Walk. You will enjoy a quiet neighborhood and a 10-minute walk to the ferry that crosses the harbor to downtown Halifax and the waterfront. Our second floor spacious apartment has large west and north windows. A small private deck is off the bedroom. This 1920s-era building is in great condition. Andy, our host who lives in the building, met us when we arrived and gave us a detailed orientation. He made us feel very welcome."

"This was a fun break from a week of camping, and a welcome change from a hotel. Despite the unintentionally hilarious 'how to' videos for the domes, which you should watch or you won't know how to turn on the shower, the decor was tasteful, and the dome was very comfortable. Had added treat of a clear sky and could lay back and look at the stars. (Be clear that is isn't a place for kids or pets though.) Also, plan at least two nights so you can enjoy the grounds as well. "

"This property is exactly as posted. Location was perfect. The view was amazing. The host provided me with all the information I needed, direction to property, the code to get in. Gave us detailed information on accessing the property. We did not have any issues but she made sure to be available to us by reaching out to us on the day of arrival to make sure we received everything. This property was clean and well taken care of,"

"1970’s spacious retro basement suite. Lovely lake view and had coffee and wine down by the lake to watch the birds several times. Fun with the ping pong table too - what a nice addition. Was damp downstairs and dehumidifier was quite noisy. We still had a lovely time . "

"The view down the short hill of the property is amazing. The house was really clean except for a few crumbs in the refrigerator and drawers. It’s in a nice area. We saw people walking every day. One of the best parts was the amazing communication from the owners. They never made us feel silly for asking questions. (Like when we couldn’t turn the volume up on the tv) The history of the church and the area is pretty neat. "
