"On our arrival though a little later than expected we parked right outside the accommodation and we was met at the door by one of the lovely owners who gave us our room and front door keys, with information about breakfast times etc. On 1st impressions I knew it was spotless and very well presented. "Newish hotel, very clean, staff very helpful. No access to rooftop terrace due to private event. Food good and reasonable price. Bedroom doors very heavy to open. Dogs accepted and allowed to fight and bark in the restaurant area."

"Firstly, £15 a day for the privilege of parking at the hotel and it’s on a first come first serve basis, is more the norm now bits it’s appalling, if you go out your not guaranteed your spot once returned. Tv didn’t work until I asked twice for it to be sorted and the fridge didn’t work and didn’t get sorted. However, it’s a lovely new/clean and well designed hotel. Comfy bed, lovely on suite and a great location for Paignton and close by Torquay. Overall we would go again!"

"We were met by our first names and instantly offered a cup of tea and cake! This personal,friendly theme ran throughout our short stay and made it a really lovely experience. The rooms were large and beautifully furnished with everything you could want and shiny clean. Breakfast was well organised with a time slot so we could again benefit from the personal touch from our super hosts. Excellent, freshly cooked large portions😀. Would happily stay here again and recommend to friends and family."

"Julia & Jamie were the perfect hosts. Friendly & helpful. The accommodation is really clean and well maintained. Cooked breakfast was always nice and hot with a plentiful supply of fruit, pastries and cereals available. The pool/patio area looks a lovely place to relax and the pool looks really inviting. Overall I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel."
