"We loved 10 Central Ave! Walking distance to Prebbleston shops and bars, and really close to our family just around the corner. On entering the property it is clean, heated and ready for our stay. The little (actually big) touches; complimentary snacks and drinks were a hit with us. The Games room was very popular, and when we were 'home' that's where we spent most of our time. We can wait for another occasion whereby we will need group accommodation - PLUX stays will be a priority. "

"This 3 bedroom house was totally identical to the pictures. In fact I would say better. The house was beautiful, cosy, clean, and the bed was comfy. This home was perfect for me and the cat, to which they were very accommodating. I stayed here for 2 weeks after moving back to ChCh from Brisbane, and honestly, I didn’t want to leave. Matt and Bev were amazing hosts, they communicated regularly right up to check in and when I had an issue with the front door someone was there to fix within an...

"Such a beautiful location! The views are lovely, and the place was clean, nicely decorated, and very comfortable. The only recommendation we would have is to add curtains in the lounge area to block out the strong afternoon sun. We tried to enjoy a family movie with the kids in the afternoon, but unfortunately the sun was so bright that we couldn’t see the screen at all. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay and thought the place was lovely!"

"The property is in a lovely old government building with lovely architecture. Staff were excellent. There are steps leading up to the property which are tricky with heavy suitcases, however if you ask at reception they can open a side ramp up for you which was great. The property is very central and convenient for everything in Christchurch however we had a room at the front of the building, above the bar which was very noisy every night we stayed there. We did not find the bed comfortable as...

"The cottage and surroundings felt like you were at a resort, not in the middle of the city. Cute little deck to have your morning coffee on. We had everything we needed in a rental. However, the decor and room overall were a bit dated, and the bed was too soft for us. The location was very convenient with cafes, restaurants and a grocery within walking distance. Staff were very nice, and check-in was easy."
