I usually dont write such a negative review but I paid good money during Jan for this room.
The property definitely is ideally located but we as a couple found that the room inspite having a smart TV and led mirror, the furniture, the bed, and the room was old with no frames or pictures with just plain walls. It was musty, a fridge that was not cooling; We did not even see a phone to call reception. it was just old run down furniture with damaged door handles and it looked so blant, we even reporter to the manager but he said he will look into tomorrow which never happened. In the middle of the night, I had to even to get rid of those crawly bugs that comes when old clothes are piled up. To add to it, there was drilling on the walls which was not great for a good days rest. For what hotel shows, the room was just plain white walls with bulky wooden furniture all cramped together. Not a great experience for the price they charge, The room was nothing like the beautiful historical hotel you walk into outside.
The house keeping staff are very sweet and breakfast was lovely too.
