"Our family trip to Cabin in the Blue Ridge was perfect. The cabin was large enough to accommodate our group, with beds to spare. The kitchen had everything we needed, even large pots and pans, plenty of baking sheets, 2 coffee pots, and two ovens, plus there's a huge table for meals, and board games. There are bathrooms on each of the three floors, which is nice when you have a group. There was plenty of seating on the porches and the views from every side were just stunning. We could see...

"Cabin was located in the perfect quiet serene area. View was great, loved watching the horses & the road was exactly where we wanted to be on. The Host was great!"

"From entering the cabin, to the time we left, we were met with a warm cozy spirit. The place was clean and smelt pleasant, and we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The outside area was enough space to have a small fire and roast marshmallows. A great place if you are ever around marion! "

"The Holston River Lodge was excellent. It had plenty of space. We enjoyed kayaking, making campfires, and soaking in the hot tub. It's a beautiful house, and the hosts thought of everything. "

"The property and accommodations were better than expected. The home was beautiful, clean with all the amenities needed. It sits on a flowing river surrounded by wildlife. Every day we would see an abundance of deer and birds. My boys loved the pool table and played every night. They also enjoyed riding bikes and playing ping pong. "Beautiful, peaceful vacation house. Roomy enough to have your own space. Deck is perfect spot to enjoy coffee in the morning, beverages at night and the verdant countryside vistas. "

"We were celebrating our daughter’s 18th birthday with her friends and she is hitting the Appalachian Trail next year so she wanted to attend Trail Days. This cabin was a perfect place for both celebrating and getting much needed rest after a long day. My only suggestion is that you upgrade your pics because they do not do the cabin’s beauty justice. "This was the perfect location for our family as we celebrated a wedding. We had pictures taken on the property in the back yard. Just a wonderful weekend at this lovely home. "

"We stayed 2 nights in the carriage house at the Litz mansion. Immaculate- great steam shower, comfortable bed and pillows/ Everything you could want or need! Considering places to stay in the area, the Litz house and the especially the carriage house are way better than the other options."

"Great place to stay - very very vlean"

"My wife and I really enjoyed the stay. It's close to downtown Tazewell, but far enough out of town that you feel like you're out in the mountains far from civilization. It's a quaint, new-ish wooden cabin with everything we needed for a couple days away. There's no TV, but honestly we didn't miss it, and it was nice to not mindlessly flip on the screen during downtime. I'd go back again for sure when traveling that way."

"We loved this cabin near Marion. It’s a short drive away from being right downtown so the location is great. We had some cold weather and it stayed very warm inside. There were meant great items supplied to make us feel right at home and we really enjoyed the rustic decor and quiet surroundings. Highly recommended!"
