"TBH, the Esplanade is our favourite place to stay in Freo. Always clean, always has easy access to things in Fremantle.
Unfortunately we have had an accounting issue this time. We were asked at checkout if we had used anything from the minibar. We never do because it’s overpriced.
Received an email with the receipt from our weekend stay and there is a minibar charge.
Have tried a few times today to call and they don’t pick up the phone. Let’s hope the email gets seen."

"Lovely period property, good decor, clean. Larger than it appears in photos. On a busy intersection with passing traffic. Ground floor has a lovely pub with live music. Rooms are above this so chose higher floor for less noisy rooms. Bed very comfy and linen good. Room very comfy. Bathroom good size with great shower. Restaurant good for casual dining. The bathroom tiles need to be changed as they had spots and looked dirty but fortunately they weren’t. Staff very helpful. Difficult finding the place . The Hotel needs a big sign as it can get very frustrating finding especially at night. "

"Genuinely can't fault this place. The beds the comfiest ever and I've stayed in various five stars and yet this place had the best bed in my travels across the globe somehow. It's basic in the fact you need to bring your own towel and shower stuff like shampoo and shower gel. Other than that it's perfect."

"The staff were the best thing about this stay. The room was ok, clean and everything I'd expect from a motel. However, my room faced onto a large public car part that served a pub, restaurant and the biggest bottle shop I've seen. It was used by young people to kick a ball around. I needed to sleep early, but was woken at 10:30, just after the doors were closed, by a youngster asking if I'd let him through my room to the back so he could retrieve his football. I refused.
