"I stayed at the Bayside and they’re the old part of the lodge. I stayed in these rooms when I was working at the Lodge ofThe Four Seasons when I’d get snowed in. It seems like they haven’t changed since 1979. The hot water would suddenly turn cold, and then suddenly turn scolding hot, in the shower. Water doesn’t drain very well. The carpet looks old and worn out and dated, beds too and the sheeting. I swear I stepped back in time. I checked for bedbugs, but I didn’t see any sign of any. This...

"Staff was amazing! So helpful, even got us into our room early. However when we walked into the building it smelled of weed and just had a stink to it. My bed pillow smelled of cigarette smoke and had ashes on the bed. We didn’t say anything just decided to go home and make the 3 hour drive. None of us wanted to get into the beds. Plus the carpet was gross feeling so we didn’t walk around without shoes on."

"The location of the Lake House Inn was great for visiting my husband's brother and his girlfriend. The room was attractively decorated, the beds reasonably comfortable, and the room reasonably clean (baseboards and walls are due a good wipe-down, though). TP dispenser was MUCH too far from the toilet and there was a faceplate for a control to a nonexistent heat lamp that hung loose from the wall. Maybe remove the faceplate and TP dispenser and plaster over those spots? DO NOT book through...

"The room and grounds were clean. The bed was uncomfortable and felt like it was going to fall apart any time you moved. The coffee area in the room was not impressive having an open container of coffee vs prepackaged is unsanitary. No soap or shampoo in. Room. Overall if your looking for a place to sleep and your passing by this place would be for you The bar and grill next door had good food"

"Chris took us to and from the pool on a golf cart! He is a wonderful man! He took our trip from wonderful to awesome!! Our room was lovely with a little patio and high enough up not to be scary at night! We loved it and will be back!!"

"The rooms aren’t the cleanest and the tv is a piece of junk. Not something you’d expect living in 2026. Fin city arcade and billiards room is awesome along with the pools. The staff is great and very accommodating. We enjoyed our time but if back in same area will probably stay elsewhere."

"The bed at this Holiday Inn was the best bed I have slept in besides my own. Very comfortable. They did need to take the trash in the front out. It was full overflowing. Everything else was great! Great breakfast also."
