"We loved our two nights stay at Melfort House. It was peaceful idyll that restored us somewhat as we were nearing the end of our road trip through Scotland. Matthew is a wonderful host, and we felt welcome in his home. The breakfast offerings were top notch, and our room and bed were so comfortable. "Fantastic Georgian Inn on Main Street in Inverary. Big comfortable beds with nice clean rooms/bathrooms. Lovely assortment of hot and cold breakfasts and a good range of dinner menu. Really friendly and helpful staff. Our room overlooked Main Street and we were warned that a quiet room couldn’t be guaranteed as there was a wedding when we stayed. It was a little noisy late into the night, so take some ear plugs just in case!!"

"The darling couple who own and run the B&B are extremely delightful. Our hostess started us off in the morning with a delightful breakfast, good cup of coffee and good advice or directions to our days activities. She made sure we enjoyed ourselves. "Wonderful place to stay. We had 2 rooms adjoining, with a gorgeous view of the water. Hosts were so helpful and friendly, both in answering questions before we even got there, as well as being on hand while we were staying. The rooms were lovely and clean, and the small personal touches (breakfast snacks, water in the fridge, chocolates on the pillows) were wonderful. They were also helpful with booking breakfast for us at the pub just down the street. Highly recommend; would happily stay there...
