"Staff and service was great, breakfast very good. Hotel,room very clean. Bed, linens comfortable, shower great water pressure and lots of hot water. But property is shabby,needs upkeep,improvements. Harbor area underwhelming. Not worth the price for a very mediocre waterfront area. Next time will stay farther out for better quality. "

"Loved staying in the wonderfully appointed cabin, it had everything you could need for basic meal cooking. The shower as terrific, as was the bed. The cabin was very clean. This was one of our favorite places to stay on our 2+ week long Scotland trip. The views from the cabin were especially nice too."

"Access is a bit difficult and the no noise rule after 10pm was not imposed so it took a while to go to sleep. Nevertheless installations are good and clean and the location is simply perfect to wake up and go in a hiking"

"Sleeping in a distillery was awesome! Everyone was very friendly and helpful answering our questions. A complimentary whiskey in a room was a pleasant surprise. Island is very walkable and views are amazing. The only downside is room was on a small side but it worked for us since we had two smaller bags. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it to friends. "

"This place is a gem in the Highlands! David and Lynn are the nicest hosts, and everything has been wonderful, from the beautiful location to the breakfast with anything you could wish for. They provide a form to fill up with your breakfast preferences (veg option very appreciated!) in addition to standard breakfast items, which I find very mindful and smart.
