    Open plan living with wonderful natural light in a traditional stone croft house. Willie Mcleod’s House sits detached in a crofted landscape with beautiful views towards the nearby sea and the hills.

    Near midway between Staffin and Uig, Willie's is well placed for access to the coast and the Trotternish Ridge with it's spectacular and wondrous Quiraing rock formations.
    Inside the classic picturesque whitewashed cottage exterior is a modern-living surprise – all air, space and light downstairs in the living area, with smart, contemporary furnishings and tasteful, sympathetic decoration. The wood-burning stove adds to the air of warm, comfortable welcome.

    The kitchen and bathroom finish the ground floor accommodation in style and functionality, including a walk-in shower and seperate bath and an additional single WC. The kitchen is fully equipped and newly upgraded, including electric oven, hob, washer/dryer, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave and dishwasher.

    Up the wide wooden stairs to 3 bedrooms – a (king-size) double, a twin and a single. We provide linen and towels. An initial basket of logs and kindling is also provided for the wood-burner. Boot room.

    Off-road parking for at least 3 cars. Willie’s shares it’s large garden with our own Byre.

    Free unlimited wifi. No smoking. Pets strictly by arrangement.

Endroit bien situé pour le Quiraing ainsi que Old Man of Storr. Très éloigné des resto et épicerie mais parfait pour vivre l'expérience de l'Île.

Origineel schot huisje met alles wat je moet hebben. Kinderen vonden de vele schapen en konijntjes rond het huis geweldig. De openhaard was lekker gezellig s'avonds.

What a beautiful setting and wonderful home! We were blown away by the scenery (even in the rain). Lorraine made us feel right at home and looked after everything we needed. A perfect retreat from some of the more hectic areas of the Isle.

This is a lovely home in a truly breathtaking setting. There was a detailed note with useful information, as well as a folder with user’s manuals for all the appliances. A few days into our stay, I hit a pothole and got a flat tire, and Lorraine very kindly helped me navigate how to go about getting help. Everything about our stay here was perfect!

The host was great to communicate with, and self check-in was smooth as can be. We arrived to a hand written welcome note with the host’s cell # should we need any assistance. The cottage had every amenity for a comfortable stay and views that were just breathtaking. Wish we had been able to stay longer!

Great location with wonderful views of the Quiraing! Spotlessly clean cottage, the only item letting it down from an overall Excellent rating was a rather dismal and temperamental electric shower.The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, cutlery and crockery. Lorraine is a very communicative hostess, no complaints on this front at all.

Lovely time in this sweet little house. Extremely clean and cosy with a nice burner. the garden was a little smaller than we had imagined but absolutely fine to sit around and admire the beautiful view and peaceful surroundings. We met the local shepherd and had lovely walks around. It was really a fantastic place to stay on the island away from the crowds.

Beautiful area and amazing views. No food available within 30 minutes. Thankfully we stocked up before we got there. Road to the property was often narrow and single track. We got the instructions on how to check in the morning after we arrived. Fortunately we figured it out. The house was comfortable and very clean. This is a great house for a peaceful stay. I can't even begin to describe how perfect our Croft house truly was. The peace and quite, the beauty. The baby lambs being born. If you are looking for a true getaway without all the noises and rush of city life, I highly recommend this quaint little Croft house. Lorraine took care of us and made sure we felt at home. The Isle of Skye and Scotland will always have our hearts!

La maison est vraiment au bout de l'île, dans un coin magnifique. Le logement est très agréable, spacieux et confortable. La décoration reprend de beaux paysages de l'île. On a pu se balader directement en sortant de la maison. Il faut penser à faire un peu de courses avant de venir y passer la nuit. Les propriétaires ont été accueillants. L'île de Skye est vraiment très belle.
