What a fantastic place to stay. The staff were outstanding and go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable and comfortable. And the breakfast is soooooo good. Fresh baked bread and pastries. Loved every moment at this hotel.

From the second when arrived to the moment we left, the staff were nothing but helpful and accommodating. The views from the room were spectacular and the rooms were nice and clean. Breakfast on the terrace had a wonderful view of the river. Everything was a quick walk and accessible to most of the top tourist locations. 10/10.

I had the opportunity to be one of their first guests, so I got a private tour of the buildinf and the kitchen. Highly recommend this hotel of you want to have an incredible experience. The staff is also very friendly and ready to help with any questions/requests.

Es un hotel exclusivo, con perfección en cada detalle, comida excepcional y el desayuno es una experiencia maravillosa de un menú degustación. La habitación es muy cómoda, con una pequeña terraza donde se disfruta de una vista increíble al Río Duoro. Pero sin duda, lo mejor es el personal del hotel, todos son muy cálidos, amables y serviciales. Ellos hicieron que nuestra estadía en Porto fuera inolvidable!

From the moment we arrived, we felt like valued guests. The staff took time to answer all our questions, explain the history of the property, and help with any thing we might have needed help with. This place is luxurious! From the marble shower, dreamy comfy beds, and spiralling staircases, we felt so spoiled. The daily breakfast was incredible, featuring local jams, breads, and chef's creations, and a wonderful way to start our day.

We had an amazing stay at Torel Private Signature! The hotel was spotless, beautifully maintained, and incredibly peaceful, making it the perfect place to relax. The staff were exceptionally friendly, professional, and always willing to help with anything we needed. Their hospitality truly made our stay special. One of the highlights was the small lunch experience—it was absolutely delicious and thoughtfully prepared. It added a unique and memorable touch to our visit. Stay away! The rooms SHAKES as trucks, cars pass by!!! DID NOT SLEEP ALL NIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Stay away! The owners of the hotel should be ashamed to put guests in the front facing rooms. As well, there loud dance music on the riverside of the hotel.

Location is recommended if you like to escape the crowds. It’s still within walking distance to many attractions of the city. Public parking is available around the area, but you can only buy a parking ticket for maximum of 2 hours, extension isn’t possible. Breakfast is served directly to the table and in 4 stages. If you are tight on time, they will speed up the process. Don’t forget to hand in the room card, otherwise you will have to ship it back. Special thanks to Joao and Ashley for their help.

Everything was beyond our expectations and Joao Daniela Beatrice and every single person that worked on site was so attentive and went beyond to help us. My apologies for not recalling everyone’s name, they deserved individual praise. The champagne toast on the patio was the perfect way to start an incredible too fast 24 hours. The suite gorgeous and bubble bath was a highlight. We tried to fit in as many sights during our short time so we didn’t utilize all the accommodations provided but hope to return and spend more time again. The art work displayed around the hotel is a must see. Breakfast was simply outstanding! Each course allowed our taste buds to experience a new layer of incredible flavor. Beautifully presented, perfectly prepared, and an unforgettable culinary experience.

The concierge staff were extremely kind and helpful right from the beginning nothing seemed too much trouble. Hotel itself was immaculate and the room was more than we expected with an amazing view of the Douro river. Room was cleaned daily to a high standard. Bathroom facilities were amazing and so was the bed. Short walk to the main old town or a short taxi to all the main sights. Breakfast was well cooked and a great experience, not all courses were to our taste but that is down to our personal taste. Orange juice was the best we’ve tasted. Would 100% return and recommend to friends and family.

The suite we booked did not disappoint. Spotlessly clean and well equipped, overlooking the Douro river from our private balcony. Being a relatively new hotel there were a couple of minor snagging problems but nothing to detract from our stay. A special mention should go to the Guest Relations team, all of whom were extremely helpful and professional. We will definitely come back.

Great hotel! From my (very large and comfortable) room I had a beautiful view of the Douro river, and the hotel itself is walking distance from both the river and the city centre. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the service was great; it's the little details that matter in these things and those were all on point. Breakfast was outstanding, a daily changing 4-course menu. I Will absolutely be visiting again.

Great small boutique hotel with plenty of friendly staff. The room was gorgeous and huge with a bathtub view on the Douro. A little bit of road noise but nothing earplugs don’t fix. The bed was massive and very comfortable. Adding a full size mirror would be good for checking a fit before leaving the room. Service was above and beyond, with a tour of the property, welcome drink, bags taken to the room and a turndown service. Ines at breakfast was very friendly. The breakfast is good although the concept of a tasting menu for breakfast is a little odd and ordering à la carte would be better in our opinion. This is the second Torel property we stayed in and will continue to seek it as a gauge of quality in Portugal.

The property was recently upgraded. Incredible staff. The restaurant on the premises is aiming to become Michelin-starred. Breakfast experience is a must. Incredible view from the hotel overlooking the Douro River. 16 rooms total. The only issue that I have personally experienced is the air conditioner. Hopefully, the hotel at some point will address this issue. Otherwise, it's a great place to stay.

I felt like the staff to guest ratio was 2/1 and everyone was most helpful and congenial we were in the penthouse riverside room with a private terrace and it was beautifully decorated and appointed. Such luxury. The 4 course breakfast was worth rolling out of the comfy bed for. We loved our stay and will recommend it to all of our friends. We watched the sunset on the wisteria canopied terrace each night of our stay and entertained our friends there. Thanks all

The place was excellent. Breath taking. The staff is super attentive. The food Mmmmmm Definitely an Amazing Experience with Amazing moments. 💕💕💖💖

Staff was exceptionally kind and hospitable. The welcome drinks and breakfasts were so nice. Our room was absolutely stunning. I especially loved the terrace with the wisteria. If we visit Porto again, we will absolutely be coming back!
