"Just a lovely gaff in a lovely area we didnt have a view from the room as was facing the back but the front view would be lovely . Loved it quiet and cozy "

"A really lovely B&B with an exceptionally warm and welcoming owner. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and the room and bathroom very clean and comfortable with lots of generous extras - toiletries, tea and coffee, etc. We had a super stay and are very grateful!"

"Location: Great on the sea front at Largs and next door to the famous Nardines restaurant. Parking: plenty of parking at hotel which is free. Note of caution: this is a hotel designed to host weddings. So depending on your stay there might be loud music until closing time (Midnight). "Great views of the harbour from room 1. The room was small but adequate. The whole hotel is tired. Black mould around the shower base and tiles. Appeared to offer a good selection of gluten free for my wife, but after I ordered the scallops my wife's linguine pasta came with gluten, staff realised before she ate it. "I have rarely used exceptional to review a hotel but the Kames was. We travelled here from New Zealand on holiday and we only had one night but it was exceptional. The restaurant menu is top class, the range on the menu was great and seriously 10/10. I had locally free dived seared scallops from the loch, I had the slow roasted goat shank with lentils - exceptional, and we shared a lemon tart with fresh berries.
