"My 27 year old son and I came to visit Donegal, the ancestral home of his father’s family. We spent 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed Buncrana. We drove up to Malin Head through stunning scenery and visited sites in and around Buncrana. Julie was a kind and accommodating host. The property was well appointed with comfortable beds and a full kitchen on the outskirts of Buncrana. "This was a lovely spot. The accomodation was basic but really all that is needed. We did not have any hot water for all our stay however. We called (no answer) and left a message (no reply). This was a bit disappointing. The bunk beds look practical but with one person on the bottom bunk and one on the top sleep was hard as everytime one of us moved the bed would creek and wobble. "

"The Hideaway is a treasure! The pictures cannot capture how cool and special this place is! We stayed in the house which was very comfortable for our family of 4. We enjoyed the hot tub and the Shebeen. Truly the best part of the stay was the incredible hospitality of our hosts, Grainne and Pat and their family. Highest recommendation for the Hideaway!"
