The Space:
Welcome to your lakeside retreat! This spacious 4-bedroom house offers ample room for relaxation with 6 beds. Each bedroom boasts its own unique theme and stunning lake views, perfect for enjoying the sunset. The upstairs bathroom features a towel warmer and a separate water closet for added convenience. The open-concept main floor allows for seamless airflow and group gatherings. Step onto the expansive 35-foot deck to enjoy the fire pit or observe the local wildlife. For those needing to work, a dedicated home office is equipped with a printer, desk, and scanner. Electric vehicle owners will appreciate the convenient level 2, 50-amp car charging station. Enjoy over 1700 sq ft of living space, comfortable parking for up to 10 vehicles, and a high-efficiency HVAC system for optimal comfort. A brand new well water system and on-demand hot water ensure unlimited hot water.

We had a fantastic stay at this lakehouse! It was clean, comfortable, and perfect for a relaxing getaway.The teenagers loved the arcade games and the fully stocked fridge of soda—such a fun touch. We also really appreciated the DIY breakfast setup, which made mornings easy and enjoyable.The location was great for exploring. We enjoyed downtown shopping, especially at Mason Jar Plant Shop, had a great time at Klassic Games, and loved the food at HopCat. Visiting the Air Zoo Aerospace & Science Museum was a highlight!Overall, a wonderful stay with something for everyone—we’d definitely come back!

We had a great time staying here! The beach area is great for kids, the water is waist deep out to 30-40 yards off shore making it super safe for our little ones. This was a great spot for our family get together!

Great Place for a group or a couple families

The place had a nice lake view and lot of amenities: games, karaoke, drinks, snacks, spices, plenty of bath towels & dishes, and comfortable seating. It had clear signage and a very friendly vibe including a little container with toiletries that one might’ve forgotten to bring. The only reason we didn’t give it 5 stars is a few of the finishes were a little rough (the main level flooring near the dining table and the main rug had a curling edge that’s a trip hazard) and all of the kitchen knives were incredibly dull. But really, overall we loved the place and would absolutely recommend it.

Perfection in Portage

From Arizona… wanted special time with my 2kids and 6 grandkids….the house was warm and inviting and roomy enough for us all. had everything and more… the host thought of everything… arCade games. Board games we took advantage of… a full kitchen to make it homey…outside living space and great views We also took advantage of the stores conveniently located and also a nearby park where we looked at the water. Played and went for a little walk… an experience the whole family enjoyed… thank you Jeremy and Katie… do hope I can do this again here.

thankgiving gathering

Since we live in different parts of the state and wanted to celebrate the holiday together, it was decided the rental of a house was the best way to do it. One family lives in Kalamazoo and has an infant. It was decided that we would all travel to Kalamazoo. This house was the perfect place!It accomodated the entire family,lots of room to stretch out and plenty of room for us to enjoy our feast and each others company. It was comfortable, had all of the essential things to prepare the feast, plus the added entertainment items were great. It was truly a wonderful way to celebrate. We certainly recommend the house to anyone looking for a place to stay in the Kalamazoo area!

Perfect stay for our family

Definitely a 10/10!! The place is amazing. Quiet and secluded enough you get the reprieve from downtown Kalamazoo, but close enough to Food, shopping and the highway. Perfect amount of space and they go above and beyond with the extra touches and amenities. Prompt responses to any questions or concerns. Highly recommend!

Comfortable place with MANY amenities

This home is comfortable and well-stocked! Five college roommates held our annual reunion here and we took advantage of the beach and the deck as well as many hours at the dining room table. Lots of parking. Great place to hold group or large family vacations.

Family Get together

We stayed here as part of a family get together with 5 adults and twin 18 month olds staying here and 4 adults and 4 kids under 4 staying at our daughters house in Portage. This was a great stop for everyone to meet and begin our family vacation in Upper Michigan. The house was as represented in the photo’s, super clean and had better views than the photos. We only wish we could have enjoyed Long Lake more. We would definitely recommend.

Annual family trip

We do an annual trip with 6 adults and 2 kids, there was plenty of space, a bunch of things to keep every age group busy. If you forgot something chances are this place will have it stocked for you. Hosts were attentive and quick to respond. The only issue is the street but overall it was a small inconvenience for a beautiful beach area.

Beautiful new home on a quiet lake

Beautiful home with all the extras; Loved quiet Long Lake, great sandy beach for swimming & Kayaking & the pontoon rides where we could set anchor and swim. Loved the table and chairs by the lake where we could eat, play games, etc. Very clean, well equipped. Only drawback was busy road separating home from lake access. Need to provide a small fan in upstairs bedrooms. Our family loved it and had a great time.

This waterfront home was as advertised. The space was very clean, packed with amenities, and most of all, very family friendly! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would certainly recommend this property to anyone vacationing in the local area!
