Disappointed there was no hot tub as in the pictures of the property it showed there was one. Also the pool closed at 9pm and in my experience that is very early and we never used it due to not being back from our adventures in time."

"I found pubic hair, a used bar of soap + it's wrapper in the shower so you can probably guess how I rate the cleaning job on the bathroom. The sheets were clean + I'm hoping the rest of the room was clean enough. Hard to have much faith in it after the shower condition, though."

"The room was ok. Nice to have a walk in shower. The bed was comfortable. Something was wrong with our TV, but couldn't get it fixed because no maintenance people are there at night. One person handles the check ins, the bar, and everything else. We were told the bar would open from 5 to 9. Got down to the lobby at 5, the person said she would open about 5:15, I told her the other front person at check in said it opened at 5, she did end up opening it because we asked.

"Breakfast at Denny’s was a mess. You basically had a choice of two eggs, toast, and sausage or bacon. Or you get ten dollars towards a full price item which did include a beverage. We would have much preferred the traditional hot breakfast they have at other comparable hotels. Rooms looked old and need a refresh. Overall a 3.5, because it felt clean but a lot was lacking. "

"Very attentive staff. We had trouble with neighbors loud at 3:30 am & that got handled quickly by security once we called, then the next morning they gave us a new room. Good location. Comfortable rooms. We will definitely stay here again next time we’re in Salem!"

"The property was run down, but they were clearly in the process of renovating. There were signs stating that there would be construction noise 8am-6pm. Not a problem. The room was clean, and decently appointed. The lighting is mismatched and some bulbs are bright white and hard on the eyes. Empty tissue box, but whatever. The issue is that the elevator has a sign saying do not go to the 4th floor because it’s under construction. My room was on the 3rd floor. I’m not sure why it was so critical...

"Right off the bet I’ll tell you the staff was great. Very helpful and very considerate and kind, but if you’re gonna call and ask if they have a stove in the room, make sure you find out whether it’s working or not as ours wasn’t. Ask him the last time they’ve cleaned any of the vents in the room and I do mean any/all. The fan in the bathroom didn’t even work because they hadn’t cleaned the vents in so long that it probably the dust killed the fan. Check to make sure you have dishes and...
