"We love the property and it is not the first time we stay… Our only problem is the parking other then this problem it is a beautiful property and we will recomended to any one looking for stay in the colonial area."

"I liked the hotel. Very clean and the service of the staff (Housekeeping and the Front Desk) were very good. The restaurant next door is really good."

"Clean, convenient location. Numerous dining options around. Near colonial zone which is a very popular tourist attraction in Santo Domingo. Available on-site parking. Very nice overall. Recommended."

"Everything and everyone was perfect Definitely recommend it"

"Beautiful building and some staff were absolutely great even with the language barrier. However you would expect at least a couple of the staff on shift to at least speak English at a five star hotel! The first night was great and then I got ill. My partner ordered my food to be sent to the room and they got it wrong all four times to the point after two hours I resorted to having to eat what was given. No one spoke English that night bar one girl at reception who agreed that this was abysmal...

"The staff was very nice and helpful. One night I was not felling well and they kept an eye on me so I don’t feel along. The amenities and cleanness. Convenience location, close to everything I would come back. Thanks"

"Great location. There was a little construction that started in the morning (too early), but other than that, it was great."

"Really lovely staff, very tranquil and beautiful gardens out back with plenty of area to sit and enjoy a drink or read a book. Very clean room, nice towels, well functioning air conditioning, nice hot water in the shower and great water pressure. Definitely not really quiet on the street outside though, in the very early morning.... so not great if you are a light sleeper or want to sleep in. Inside the hotel itself is quiet and tranquil, but you can hear noise from the street outside the room,...

"Basic no expensive hotel ,in a good condition ,close to restaurant and malecon, supportive staff,"

"So to be fair your staying in a 500 year old building, the room is small but very cool. The property is beautiful, the history is wonderful, the staff was friendly and helpful. The only improvements I think could be made is a refrigerator in the room and more than a commercial hand soap dispenser in the bathroom, provide at least some basic soap and shampoo. Overall we had a great time here and will most likely come back."

"Great staff, second time coming here, standard room are very small, just sleep and go, but the bigger rooms are very spacious. Won’t do the standard room again, but staff was helpful and breakfast was great, love that it has parking. Rooms do need upgrades is very old but upkeep is good. Location is great to explore and a lot of food options near by day and night. Ac works great but walls a bit shallow"

"The hotel was clean and beautiful. The staff were friendly but it was hard at times to get information unless you knew to ask. Besides that overall an excellent stay. Felt very safe and was a great value."

"I had a wonderful stay at this apartment. The place is quiet, clean, and well-organized. The pool at the back is a great place to relax — it's in a covered backyard area with a canopy, perfect for unwinding. Having the whole apartment to yourself is a big plus: you can buy groceries and cook your own meals, like breakfast. The staff is incredibly friendly, helpful, and kind — always available whenever I needed anything. I definitely want to come back to this place and I highly recommend it to...

"Breakfast buffet for extra fee per person available."
