"Was in town to visit my niece. Was very impressed with how nicely the room was layed out. It was a one room suite and had plenty of room and amenities (Stove, Microwave,Refrigerator). Would definitely recommend and use them again "

Spotlessly clean, well appointed, and beautiful grounds to enjoy. Nidia is a perfect host, ensuring that we had everything we needed, and checking in to ensure that our stay was perfect. For those who want a space close to DC that includes an incredibly peaceful environment, this is your spot!"

"Great location - steps to everything. Great Host- very responsive. Lovely stay! We pulled out the trundle bed the second night because we’re used to a king bed. Mr. is tall so he appreciated the very tall shower head. Unexpected- a late night trumpet serenade was very romantic and it turns out a famous local guy! "

"Very clean, had everything we needed, lovely neighborhood, and the hosts even let us add on an extra day when I discovered that I had messed up and only booked 2 nights. Highly recommended!"

"This property was amazing and matched the description exactly. It was spacious, quiet, and clean. I didn’t use the amenities but from what saw, they were great. From the pool, gym, rec area; everything was nice. It even has a Aldi grocery store in site, coffee and Urgent Care. It seems like it has it all! There were a few things I didn’t like, for example, the mattress on the bed was way too soft and you literally sink into it when you lay on it. Some people may like it, but it wasn’t for me....

"Home located in great location to downtown shops and metro. Easy communication with host. Pictures are accurate and place was clean. Would recommend to others. "

"Great location for this 3-bedroom property. Comfortably accommodated 6 adults and an infant. One parking spot included but plenty of street parking right in front of the building and on the side streets. Will definitely stay again when back in the area."

"So convenient to the beach and downtown Colonial Beach restaurants and shopping. We will definitely be back! "

"Barrister Square was an excellent home base for our family’s trip to DC and Alexandria. Convenient to the metro and trolley, as well as walking distance to cafes and restaurants on King St, we were spoiled by this location. Inside, the beds were comfortable, A/C took the edge off the heat, and the building was quiet. Would choose again! "
