"The owner is very friendly. We had a cottage and it was behind the times. The lodge looks nice and the dining room was nice and great food."

"We stayed in room 30. First thing we saw was a bag of garbage ripped open in front of our door. Paint chipping off the door and falling on the floor and a gap at the bottom so insects were coming in. Bed squeaked so loud was hard to sleep, outlet in bathroom did not work. Toilet barely flushed, dead bugs on window sill and floor, the deck railing was loose and they had half a roll of toilet paper in our room. Only good thing was the A/C. Was not worth it to save a little money, trust me!"

"DO NOT BOOK HERE! My family had booked the the Baddeck Domes and were looking forward to a unique experience. We arrived at about 6pm after a long day of driving just to find out that they had overbooked their motel so they gave away our dome to someone who booked a different room. I was frustrated with this however i understand things happen so i said lets just process my refund and we will find another place to stay. The lady running the motel informed my that she could not do that without...

"Check in was fast. They changed to a water view room for me the next day. Room was clean & cleaning lady Priyanka was very friendly ＆ helpful. Air conditioning is cool enough for hot summer days！ Restaurant staff were nice though you may need to remind them your breakfast should be hot（sometimes came a bit cold）. So far happy with my stay ＆ the location is great！"
