I have 2 gas grills with 2 propane tanks and an outside burner for frying fish. Outdoor shower and hose to steps to wash off sand daily.2 Brand new high adirondock chairs on master deck allows you to view beach sunsets and star gazing at night. We also have one of the few rentals to offer 2 x water filtration system
Just a one minute walk to the ocean side pool (See Map). Barrier Dunes has a playground, fishing lakes, and tennis courts. Nearby golf course. Other activities include biking, hiking, snorkeling, fishing, and kayaking.

Barrier Dunes is located next to St. Joseph State Park which contains over 2000 acres of pristine beaches, tropical landscapes, and nature trails. Nine miles of award-winning Gulf shoreline featuring turquoise waters, sugary white sand, and awesome dunes that rise more than 20 feet on average. (Ranked the third best beach in the country by Dr. Beach)

Keywords: Stepped On a Pop-Tart is a lovely, fully equipped, Gulf view town-home in Barrier Dunes. It is an end unit in a very quiet part of Barrier Dunes, and yet one of the closest units to the beach. It's just minutes to the beach and oceanfront pool.
The beach is pristine, fine white sand. You can walk for miles. The water is shallow near the shore, making it an excellent place for small children to play in the surf.
Barrier Dunes itself is ideally situated on the Cape, right next to the entrance to St. Joe's Peninsula State Park with its many hiking, biking, wildlife viewing and beach exploring opportunities. An excellent location also to take a canoe or kayak and explore the wildlife rich back bay. There is also a boat launch, so whether you bring your own boat, and yes, there is parking available for a boat at Stepped on a Pop-Tart, or whether you rent a boat, you can do so easily and conveniently.

The host was extremely hard to get in contact with. The sheets looked a bit dirty to us, so we asked for a clean set. We were told we needed to prove the sheets were dirty before a new set could be delivered. Then never heard from the host again. Would NOT recommend staying here.

Overall this property is great. It is cozy and nicely furnished. The kitchen has all you need to cook. It is very close to the beach. A couple of issues are the ceiling fan in the master does not have any light bulbs, and the washing machine has a very small capacity. These are not huge issues, and easily forgotten when you walk to the beach and see the beauty.

we had a great family vacation. House is well maintained, had everything we needed. Unit is closer to beach than I imagined. I could walk from the house to beach and have tent set up in under 10 minutes using the ramp with no stairs. Will be happy to come back in future. Thank you!

Summer vacation

Perfect location to a beautiful beach. Pool was nice and close as well. Black flies came in on Thursday so that was a bummer….their bite hurts!!! King size bed was very comfy. Some suggestions for condo… a throw blanket would be nice, some new Tupperware with tops that fits, knife sharpener because knives are very dull. Otherwise, pretty much had everything we needed. Oh! We could not figure out how to work the cd player. But we found a movie on Prime. Extra points for the bidet!!!

Cleanliness

We love Cape San Blas. It was our second year vacationing but 1st time staying here. It was not clean, dog hair all over, floors were sticky and the living room area smelled of strong urine. I vacuumed and swept when we left and it was cleaner than when we arrived. We were out the door at checkout time but in the driveway, my son and grandson waited in our vehicle while we walked to say goodbye to family around the corner and we were charged a late fee!!! Absolutely ridiculous. Might have to use another source other than VRBO. Also difficult to reach owner.

Great Place!

Hate to admit it because it may bring more people and make it harder to rent, but we loved the place! Great area - much quieter than crazy PCB or other touristy areas and a very dog-friendly community! Beach is very close - awesome views, not busy even during the day and awesome for morning and evening walks. Thank you!!!

Amazing stay!

First time to Cape San Blas but it won’t be our last! Rental was perfect! Comfy bed, quiet area, well stocked kitchen. Check in was incredible easy. Lots of great info from host. We will be back!

We would stay here again

The townhouse was as advertised. Clean, spacious and a short walk to the beach, with a nice balcony upstairs where we drank our coffee in the morning. The screened in porch was nice too. Host recommendations on restaurants were spot on. We enjoyed our week in Cape San Blas very much. The water was clear, the beach was fine and uncrowded. We will definitely return!

A Great Stay

This is our second end-of-year celebration at Barrier Dunes and the first at Pop Tart. The beach views are amazing and it is a quick walk to the beach and pool. We had to do some online work while were there and the desk in the master bedroom is marvelous. The internet speed is a little slow, but we made it work.

This property was perfect for my family - 2 adults, 6 year old, and 8 year old. Everything was as advertised. Great communication from the owner. Barrier Dunes community is also fantastic. I highly recommend, and we hope to visit again!

Wonderful Condo!

We had a wonderful time here! The condo was perfect for us and we loved the location! The beach was just steps from our door and it was stunning! We loved every minute of our week long stay here and can’t wait to return.
