Cape San Blas is the last pet friendly & family oriented area in the Florida panhandle. With easy access to the beach and a GULF FRONT home with fabulous water views.

Purchased in Jan. 2012. The kitchen has been remodeled with all new cabinets, stainless appliances and granite counter tops! Our home offers tile floors on the main level, updated sofa and love seat, dining room furniture, Flat Screen TV’s, mattresses, and cotton bedding & linens.

This home offers 1 king size bed in the master beachfront suite, a second King size bed in a beachfront bedroom, both with private baths and gulf side balconies. A third bedroom has 2 twin beds and a private bath. The spacious and fully stocked kitchen is a perfect place to prepare family meals that can be eaten on the large deck while watching amazing sunsets. Laundry closet is located on the 2nd floor with a full size washer and dryer.

Snow Birds! We are on the 'Sunny Side.' Enjoy long days in the sun and enjoy the beauty of the Cape.

Barrier Dunes is a gated community that has a gulf front pool, a second solar heated pool located near the 2 lighted tennis courts. There are also 3 fully stocked man made ponds, a playground located on the property, club house and a wonderful community to walk your dogs. They have pet stations conveniently located throughout the property.

Barrier Dunes is located next to St. Joseph State Park which contains over 2000 acres of pristine beaches, tropical landscapes, nature trails and bike path. Nine miles of award-winning Gulf shoreline featuring turquoise waters, sugary white sand, and awesome dunes that rise more than 20 feet on average. You will also find a nearby golf course and other activities include biking, hiking, snorkeling, fishing, and kayaking.

We are a dog friendly unit. 1st dog is $100 with the 2nd dog adding $50. Monthly rates are $25 per week.

Beautiful view

We really enjoyed staying in this beautiful unit! Everything was clean, comfortable, and the view from the top two decks was incredible! While the sargassum on the beach was disappointing, we were so glad we chose this unit so we could see the ocean without having to deal with it too much. The gulf side pool was wonderful as well!

Great Vacation Home

This property is so comfortable and really lovely. The views of the gulf are stunning. The kitchen is one of the best equipped I had ever stayed in, and we cooked in most nights. The master bedroom suite has an amazing view from the porch and great bathroom and storage. Other areas of the home were equally lovely and we enjoyed this rental unit! Would seek it out if we return to Cape San Blas.

Top Barrier Dunes Property

This beautiful beach front home was perfect for our weekend getaway with our pup. The property was very clean and updated and the kitchen was well-stocked with everything we could possibly need. We are looking forward to visiting again!

Great location & beautiful condo!

We spent fall break at this lovely condo on Cape San Blas. It is in the perfect location with beach front views! Well appointed with everything you could need. Easy check in/check out and great communication with host. Would definitely stay here again in the future!!

Beautiful beach and great times with family!

Our stay was great and we enjoyed the townhouse and area. We did have a few issues with the A/C and the laundry room door during our stay. Katie was great at responding and tried hard to get people out to fix things even with the threat of a hurricane coming our way. We thankfully were missed by the hurricane, so were able to stay and enjoy our vacation with only one power outage, a water outage, some wind, and some rain. The extra A/C in the top bedroom was not operational upon arrival and for a couple of days due to someone leaving it at a temperature setting that was too low which caused it to freeze up. There was a laundry room door that fell off when we went to open for the first time and that was fixed by the Friday before we left. Everything else was great. The rooms and bathrooms are beautiful. There was plenty of room and the beds are pretty comfortable. The Master bed does have a 'hump' in the middle but is still pretty comfy. The kitchen is well stocked. If I had to suggest one thing in the kitchen, it would be to add a nice larger frying pan/skillet. We had to improvise with the smaller ones to be able to cook enough food for everyone. The pool was very nice and the view is OUTSTANDING from this townhouse.

Family beach vacation

Property was very family friendly probably the most well stocked home I have ever stayed in. Very short and easy walk to the beach. No issues what so ever but communication with homeowner was easy. I hope to be able to return again someday to stay here.

Clean, well furnished and close to the beach

Location is the best. Back deck stairs 20 steps to a wood walk path over the dunes to the beach. Unit has plenty of beach chairs, toys, cooler, and a beach umbrella. Amazing views of the sunset and beach from the 2nd and 3rd floor bedrooms. Large smart TV in den for Netflix, etc. Well furnished kitchen with spices, sugar, filters, trash bags, dish soaps, laundry, dishes, utensils, pots, etc. Comfy beds and towels. Each bedroom has its own bath. Quiet complex with pools good for children and grandparents. Friendly folks all around. Local store Trading Post is well stocked and very reasonably priced. PSJ area is quaint and not too touristy. We recommend and would come back to this beach and stay in this same unit again.

Family Destination Thanksgiving

Our family rented 3 units at Barrier Dunes and this was by far the cleanest and best appointed. This beachfront unit has amazing views and easy access to the beach. The community was great and allowed our kids freedom to roam, visit with cousins at the park, fish in the lake and play lots of football on the beach. We look forward to coming back soon.

Beautiful ocean view!

Our party of 6 (2 seniors, 2 adults, 2 kids) had a wonderful time at this townhome on the beach! We loved the beautiful views - especially from the 2nd and 3rd floor balconies. Beach is just steps away. Beach chairs and toys available for the kids. Great communication with the owner. Highly recommend!

Great Location!

Great location, great beach views. Quick walk over the boardwalk and you are there. Beach is very walkable and the most dog friendly beach ever!!!! House is beautiful, clean and nicely furnished. The community is well maintained and clean. Restaurants, shops and rentals are nearby. We had a wonderful time! Thank you!
