"unique home with nice view of the coast. Within walking distance of the lighthouse museum and point. Liked the layout with bedrooms on the top and bottom for extra privacy. There are lots of stairs to climb. The parking was steep and narrow, but we got our 2 cars in easily. Comfortable beds and good water pressure in the showers. A very pleasant stay"

"Great location, beautiful on the river, well stocked house for all the kitchen items anyone would need. Very comfortable and fun times by our family at our recent stay."

"This was such a wonderful place to stay for a quick getaway to the beach, especially being right across the street to the beach access! Rooms were very clean and service was amazing. Thank you for making our weekend getaway amazing! "

"This amazing home is located off the beaten track but overlooks the beautiful Elk River. We came in July and couldn’t ask for better weather. We went charter boat fishing and hiking but mostly, we relaxed at this home away from home. Ariel, the host, lived nearby and catered to all of our needs. She thoughtfully provided all kinds of toiletries and pantry items as well as fresh flowers from her garden. The bedrooms, bathrooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. Cooking in their...

"This suited us perfectly as we wanted to travel to Secret Beach and the Redwoods. Clean and comfortable (beds were comfortable). Communication was great. Laundry was nice to have and owners had nice little extras for guests (coffee, cream, toothbrushes). "

"This unique cottage in a quiet neighborhood provides a lovely view of the ocean with the calming sound of distant breakers. The double mattress is very soft, and we noticed a few ants in the kitchen but the home was otherwise clean and well equipped. A moderate walk (or short drive) down the hill takes you to a wonderful little cove with rocky outcrops to explore or just watch the waves crash for hours. Simply delightful."

"As the listing shows you get a great panoramic view of the ocean. The place was very private and quiet. The only other person around was someone working on their lot, about 700' down the road at the cul-de-sac where you get the path down to the beach. This path is on a neighboring parcel, but was well maintained. At some points the path was challenging for 70 year olds but was well worth it. The beach was about 1/3 mile and very isolated.
