The gardens are fabulous, not just the cactus garden but all the different fruits and flowers, with peacocks wandering around, it was magical. There is a lovely cafe/restaurant, only downside it wasnt open every day for dinner but that wasnt a problem for us, as there are eateries within walking distance or a short bus ride away. "We really enjoyed staying at La Rotonda sul Mare. It was the perfect location for our vacation. Amerigo and his staff were extremely friendly, accommodating and helpful. "A hidden gem up the Forio hillside but worth the challenging drive. Best service (management is superb with fantastic recommendations), transfers and shuttles to Local area. Excellent massages. Loved our room inside and out. Views of ocean and sunset are hard to match. Will return!"

"Hotel and room was fantastic, old Italian country style. The beach, layout, sun beds on the cliff, the epic scenery and even different style of tiles in every single room - what makes it so special. Minus was a lack of non fish/seafood option as my partner doesn’t eat it but other that that food was good for me. "

"Tolles kleines, familiengeführtes Hotel mit wahrscheinlich dem schönsten Blick auf die Citara-Bucht und einem schönen Thermalpool. Neben dem tollen Ausblick lebt das Hotel von seinen herzlichen Angestellten am Empfang, im Speisesaal, dem Service, einfach überall. Bis zum Citara-Strand (gratis) waren es ca. 5 Minuten Fußweg.
