Brand new studio inside house directly opposite Shelly Beach with own private entrance.Use of huge fenced secure back garden quiet and plenty of free street parking directly outside house. WELL BEHAVED FULLY TOILET TRAINED SOCIALISED DOGS MORE THAN WELCOME. NO CATS. Air conditioning and ceiling fan with heating Netflix. Dishwasher Air fryer Bar b que oven microwave electric frypan (equiped kitchenette). Fresh airy and homely.

The host (Fi) was excellent and responded to our queries promptly. She is most definitely a genuine dog lover and provides for the 4-legged guests accordingly. The unit had everything we needed plus a few extra's and we had access to a fully fenced back yard for our doggo. There was also a BBQ which we did use on the first night. Plenty of information on dog friendly local beaches and cafes which we found very helpful. Port Macquarie also has much to offer in terms of craft breweries, wineries, and convict history, all of which we took advantage of. We would absolutely revisit and stay with Fi!

This lovely unit was thoughtfully appointed, well cared for and in a beautiful location. To top it off Fi was very welcoming to us and our pets. Check-in and communication was excellent. Highly recommend!

Great location

Great location right opposite the beach. Nice and quiet, with dog towels, ball and dog bowls supplied which was a nice touch. Also had some milk in the fridge and tea and coffee, very nice after a long drive.

We had a great time and took advantage of the easy beach access and fantastic amenities. However, there were dirty dishes left in the dishwasher and a dead cockroach on the floor.

Perfect stopover

Great location, close to the beaches and walking distance to a few restaurants. A very warm welcome and local tips from Fiona. Accommodation was comfortable and clean and direct access to a good secure backyard if travelling with dogs

Fantastic place!

My wife and I visited for a weekend stay in March 2024. The accommodation is beautiful - comfortable, quiet, private and tastefully decorated with all conveniences to make it feel like a home. The owners communication with us from start to finish was excellent and made for a wonderful stay. A fantastic place and highly recommended. We'd return again for sure.

Gorgeous converted house in amazing spot

We just loved it here and will be back. And our Labrador had a secure back yard to stretch her legs in. Opposite the beach made the location perfect for a walk through the bush to the best dog beach we’ve seen. And a lovely spot for us humans to swim in too.

Ideal location and comfortable accommodation

Fi is a great host, very helpful and communicative. Our studio is ideally located, just a short walk to beaches and beautiful views of the ocean and close to shops and attractions. Three times we saw dolphins in the bay. Our accommodation was comfortable and functional and I would certainly recommend it.

Really enjoyed our stay at Fi’s place. Fi gave us a great run down of the area. Very clean apartment with comfy bed with lovely linen and towels. Across the road is access to off leash dog beach so that was great. Frankie 🐶loved the big fenced back yard and Bella 🐶when she visited. Will definitely visit again.

Port Macquarie - Doggie Style

Travelling from Brisbane back to Central West NSW - we needed a halfway stop over. We were travelling with our Border Collie "Mia". Positives 1: The location with access to off leash dog beach literally across the road was perfect. - Parking free across the road - perfect - a short drive to the centre of town (not walking distance) 2: Clean Grassy Backyard area, secure enough to leave the dog behind if we wanted to 3: Fi - our host gave us so many great Local tips on where to go for Dinner and breakfast and where to access the beach with Mia. Spot on. We ate locally sourced and lovingly prepared food at night and breakfast on the beach all with the dog in tow. 4: The accommodation is homely and Bo ho. - If you are looking for a sterile hotel room this isn't for you. small negatives 1: The Bathroom is a wee bit cramped 2: The Netflix internet connection was flaky but that was no biggie - for me on holidays I don't watch the TV at all I would recommend this to all my friends and family without hesitation

Excellent location, easy access to dog off leash beach 🏖️ Fiona is an excellent host sharing local knowledge of activities, cafes etc. There are so many reasons to holiday in Port Macquarie. Would happily book Fiona's place again.
