"The cottage was comfortable, in a great quiet location by the water, and we had a wonderful sunset as a bonus! The amenities are not luxurious, but good and as described. We only planned an overnight stay, so did not see much of the area. Would be good for longer stays however."

"Our group of four women stayed two nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house has old-world charm, is clean and spacious. Well-located in the town of Shelburne. Dave is an excellent host - responsive and accommodating to our needs. I definitely recommend a stay at this property. "

"Our booking was canceled two hours after check in by the property manager. We had tried to get a hold of the property manager for two days before our booking to find out the check in process with no answer. Finally, two hours after check in time, the manager informed us that this home was no longer a rental and we would need to find other accommodations. He blamed VRBO for not taking down the listing. VRBO did refund the entire cost rather quickly. "

"My sisters and I walked into this absolutely charming place and felt immediately at home. Monique and Carl have thought of everything that would be needed. Beautifully decorated throughout and the beds were so comfy. The area was pretty and close to all the things we wanted to see. But the area people were wonderful. "
