River's Edge is a modern, chic and newly updated cottage located in Rapids City Illinois with accommodations for up to six guests. Enjoy a beautiful open floor plan with expansive views of the majestic Mississippi River.

River's Edge is directly across the river from historic LeClaire, Iowa. Outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy the Mississippi River Bicycle Trail steps away from front door.

Relaxing on the deck

River’s Edge was perfect for our trip. We spent the week at a golf tournament at TPC Deere Run and this location was great. The house is very clean and inviting. The deck was amazing! We had rain a few days during our stay, so the covered deck, view and fire pit were perfect. Highly recommend this location and will definitely be back for any future trips.

A Beautiful Riverside Haven!

The property was clean and cozy, beautifully and seasonally decorated, and had everything we needed! The bed was comfy and the bedding, plentiful. The outdoor space--porches and dock--were some of the best I've ever seen. The view was outstandingly good. It was an ideal spot to visit the Quad Cities from.

Outstanding Riverview

Dan was quick to reply when I needed help finding the place. The house was very clean and kept up very well. The fireplace on the huge deck was a plus. Beautiful house we will definitely enjoy coming back again. Thank you very much.

Relaxing Getaway

We loved this property. Everything was perfect from the Interior decor, super clean, and beautiful sunsets. We had great weather (80's) for the month of October which even made it more enjoyable. Also, really enjoyed the covered deck. We certainly would stay here again!

USA tour 2024

We are travelling from Melbourne Australia. Enjoyed our stay at the house. LeClaire is a great little town, just a bit warm the day we were there. The view from the deck out to the Mississippi is amazing.

Love the deck!

So relaxing and very clean! The deck is the best part of the place though. It’s partially covered so you get the best of both worlds; relax in the sun and relax in the rain. We will be back!

Escape on the river

A beautiful property, tastefully decorated, clean and everything you need for a getaway. Had a "girls" retreat! A little shopping across the river in LeClaire. Some eating out. Lots of snacking. Well equiped kitchen. Plenty of towels. Wonderful!

Husbands birthday get away

We LOVE this location - so easy to get to off of the interstate and really friendly bars/restaurants to eat at. We both work 6 days a week and look forward t a peaceful and serine weekend. I sit on the lower deck and my feet are in the river - can't get any better than that. The house is clean and it was decorated so nice for Christmas. Thank you!!!!!!!

Beautiful home right on the river

This home was beautiful and with everything you need. It is also right on the river, so relaxing. Dan and Susan were very welcoming. The location is near restaurants and shops. Definitely would come back.

Weekend Getaway

Great weekend getaway for my wife and I. We spent most of our time relaxing on the wonderful deck overlooking the river. Would definitely stay here again - Dan was a great host, checking in a couple times over our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. I saw another post that said the pictures don’t do this place justice and I would agree. The house was nicely updated, the deck was great; would recommend staying here

Peaceful

my husband and I work alot and have high stress jobs at time - this was the best thing we could have done for us - peaceful - destressing - and watched amazing sunsets!!! The house was beautiful!!
