There are few places that will take your breath away, and Crystal beach is definitely one of them! With the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico nearby, this home is just the place to bring the whole family for that much-anticipated vacation! With accommodations for up to eight guests, this is the perfect fit for a family getaway. Whether it be enjoying a cold drink on the over-sized patio or a day at the beach with your toes in the water, everyone will find their own way to spend their time away. After a day on the sand, everyone can rinse off in the outdoor shower and gather on the spacious deck to watch the sun go down with a glass of wine.

What's nearby:
Crystal Beach is just the place to get some much-needed seclusion while still being within close proximity to the urban hustle and bustle! The endless beaches of Bolivar are right outside your front door, so having a picnic in the sun while the kids build sandcastles will be a breeze! If you want a break from the beach, venture inland less than a mile and treat the whole family to a fun-filled day at Fun Spot Water Slide. Don't forget to grab a scoop of ice cream from Ritas and Cream on your way back home. Plus, the lively city of Galveston is a short ferry ride away making it a perfect day trip for everyone to enjoy.

The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Get what you pay for

The house is all around okay you are most definitely getting what you’re paying for…CHEAP. The pictures you see when booking are not close to what you are going to experience. The double decker bed was held up by tape and one mattress was directly on the floor. ONLY BOOK THIS HOUSE IF YOU PLAN TO BE THERE TO SLEEP. The furnished deck is not as pictured, there is NO driveway just grass, NO BEACH ACCESS!!!!! The only areas of access are walking/golf cart access very misleading upon booking.

I do love the distance from the beach in regards to walking. The downside would be there is no vehicle access close. Or at least I was not able to find any. Maybe add the nearest vehicle beach access to the listing

The property is average at best. House needs work. Flooring was separating at seams. Trip hazard. Doors had been honed so they opened properly as house must have shifted and lots of paint needed in inside. Deck was adequate. Kitchen utensil and pots and pans were garage sale quality at best. Parking was horrible. 2 vehicles at best and parking was in grass. Should not be advertised as sleeps 10. Sleeps 6 at best. Couches are not for sleeping. House was overpriced for what we received. And, it was for sale. Ugh. Owners not putting money into it. Very obvious. CG

Nice Stay

The place is nice, has a well-appointed kitchen, nice beds, furnishings, and bathrooms. A few issues that could be addressed include: shaky bunk bed, empty Dorito's bag under one bed and a Cheeto under one of the sheets in another bed, not enough TP, and WiFi never worked. But we did enjoy our 3-night stay!

Great lil vacay

Clean, well maintained, useful and convenient amenities. I’d like to suggest a shower chair in at least one bathroom for safety with those with poor mobility or balance issues. Beds were very uncomfortable, I’d suggest memory foam toppers or something. Our rest was poor we all woke up hurting. The location was perfect, house was pretty clean with the exception of dog fur, chew toys and dust under couch. Overall I’d definitely rent again if bed issue is addressed.

Had To Cancel Reservation

Unfortunately, upon arrival, the home was not thoroughly cleaned. In fact, only 1 of the 4 beds were made. We couldn't locate sheets to make the beds. The toilet had to be fixed. I also had to sweep and mop the floor, wipe down the couches, and clean the refrigerator upon arrival. One of the mattresses was completely sunken in. Even with all of that, we were going to make the best of it and stay. Until I woke up and 5:00 am with a bed bug bite. The bed bug was in fact crawling on me and I killed it with my hand, only to have my hand full of blood. This property should not even be listed with the cleanliness issues it's having. Additionally, there were flying ants in the kitchen. Do not recommend it.

Perfect setting

Best spot for my beach experience. I’m close enough to walk. I can see the water from the couch. The front porch is my favorite view to sit outside. This house isn’t too close to another house either. This is my second time staying at this house.

Great location. No complaint with the beds. Some of the dishes were dirty, so we had to clean them before using. An ashtray on the deck was full of cigarette butts. There was no laundry detergent, so we had to go to The Big Store for that. The bathrooms have tiny shampoo/conditioner like a hotel...not a fan. There was also tiny bar soap...once again, not a fan. Nothing serious. Those were just a few minor details that the manager should address. Other than that, I would recommend it to others.

The location was perfect! Loved the views but very disappointed with a couple things -there is a roach infestation in the home, they were all in the kitchen and also in a room crawling the walls!!! Pretty disgusting waking up to roaches, specially in the kitchen we had to throw out a couple things due to the issue! Needs to get taken care of ASAP - the cleanliness wasn’t the best, the restrooms were a bit dirty - the bedrooms have bad mattresses some are too hard and others sink in the middle.

Great Stay

The property was just as expected, as detailed in the listing! We were pleasantly surprised that a Keurig had been added to the kitchen appliances! When we arrived, the house was clean and cool! The deck is a great place to enjoy your morning coffee or an afternoon cocktail. You can hear the relaxing sound of the surf, as well as the beautiful view, any time of day! The downstairs area is super nice and spacious for a relaxing cookout, or just sitting and chatting with friends/family! We couldn’t seem to get the DirectTV to work, so I made a call to the property manager, and within 15, a very nice fella (I forgot his name) arrived and showed us how to access it! So FYI, on the TV’s menu, don’t choose “satellite “, choose “cable” that’s where whomever programmed the TV put it! We would most definitely stay here again, and we’ve already recommended the property to a couple of friends! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! ***The guest room bath needs a stopper for the tub. My grand baby had to take his baths in the master bathroom, because there was no way to plug up the drain. I would also suggest the addition of a television to the master. Not a deal breaker of course, just a suggestion.

Anna's Bachelorette Party Weekend!!!!!!

This was our first time in Crystal Beach. The experience was wonderful. The house was a street away from the beach. There was beach access right there too. We rented golf carts for the weekend, we took those things EVERYWHERE. The beach was clean and ppl were everywhere. We absolutely enjoyed our time away. NEXT IS THE WEDDING!!!

The location was great. Just a 3 min walk to the beach.Gina from Vacasa was very helpful and responsive. The property could do with some upgrades. The decor is very faded and looks worn out.The pictures posted online of the deck , indoors and outdoors was misleading. The dishwasher was broken, clothes dryer did not work properly and there was a leak from the AC vent inside the house. The house was not cleaned properly and had a musty odor . It could do with some reorganizing and upgrading of the kitchen utensils . It is a beautiful property that needs some attention.

Beach house

While the listing says “beach access,” it was not made clear that the beach is only accessible by foot. The vehicle entrance is about a mile away. At the entrance to the subdivision, there is a large sign that says “no beach access.” The property says there is room for 4 cars, which is not true. There was barely space for 3. We generally take the tops off of our Jeeps and park under the houses (in case of bad weather), but the letter in the house asked that no one park under the house. We would not have booked there if we had known this. The home had one role of toilet paper per bathroom. When I inquired about this, the management company said there should be 2 but the local rep said one. Two families stayed in the house for 5 days. That’s not reasonable. It was not a huge deal, but we had to go back to the store on a busy weekend when we figured all of this out. It took a good bit of time. The kitchen was well appointed and the home was as pictured. The location and parking were our main issues.
