Relaxing on the Bolivar Peninsula has been part of our family's vacation memories for three generations, so we are so excited to welcome you to Shore Fun!

Whether you are looking for a quiet retreat or boisterous family fun under the big blue Texas sky, our home is the perfect setting! Just a short walk or golf cart ride away from beach access with close proximity to amenities, such as the famous Big Store, your trip to Crystal Beach, TX will certainly be "Shore Fun!"

Our home features a full, private master suite, two more bedrooms with ample closet space, and a second full bathroom. The kitchen and living spaces are large and welcoming, ready to host your family's vacation!

Other amenities: large deck, entertaining space below, outdoor shower, downstairs refrigerator and gas grill, fully equipped kitchen, televisions with satellite in living area and bedrooms

Family gatherings before deployment

We traveled from three different states to see my youngest son before his future deployment. We had a blast hanging on the beach, going deep sea fishing and dolphin sightseeing in Galveston, and just being able to relax with each other.

First family vacation

Our stay was awesome! First family vacation and it was a blast. Beach is walking distance and you can buy day pass for $10 to drive onto the beach if you have a lot to carry. The bottom portion of the house was perfect for our BBQ while rained and cooled down perfectly. The beds are comfortable and everything was clean. Market is down the street and was very convenient for groceries and saved money this will probably be our yearly tradition now. Already planning our next stay.

My family & I enjoyed our stay here. The home was just as described. It was clean & had everything we needed for cooking. The beds were very comfortable. It is only a few blocks from the beach & close to restaurants & stores. We will stay here again.

So relaxing!

We had a wonderful, relaxing few days! The beach house was cozy and comfy and wet felt like home as shin as we walked in. Not very far from the beach and the location is great for anything else you may need.

Will rent again!

The property was very clean. I have to say that was one of the most important things for me. Location was great. Near the big store and a donut shop for the kids breakfast. I took the advice of a previous review and rented a golf cart. Probably the best decision I made the whole trip. We rented from “Its a beach thing” that was located near the cabin. I highly recommend them. Timely drop off pick up and just as friendly as can be. There was very little traffic on our road with easy beach access. We really enjoyed staying here and look forward to booking again.

July 4th vacay

Great location to the beach with golf cart and perfect little house to spend quality family time in! We really enjoyed it! Note* ~ the house was clean, but when we first walked in and for the first day it did smell kinda like cigarettes. But other than that it was really great, thank you for having us!

Overall we enjoyed our stay because we were with family, but there are definitely some things that can be improved for future guests: 1) The address that was sent to us for the location was not correct, and we had to drive an extra two hours. 2) It seems that the house had not been checked before we arrived because the refrigerator (we were told was available downstairs) had been off for several days and was full of mold and mildew. 3) The owner responded each time we reached out but he was never proactive about touching base with us. 4) The couch in the family room was very dirty and stained. 5) About half of the outdoor furniture is broken and without cushions. 6) The outdoor shower was not usable because the handle is broken off. 7) The towels in the house were damp from the previous guests and we had to wash them all before using. 8) The dishwasher was full of dishes.

New Year Getaway

Wonderful stay. Nice updated cabin. Rent you a cart and you are set. Close to Big Store and shopping. Loved it. Fireworks on the beach were amazing. Especially at midnight New Year’s Eve.
