Located on a beautiful wide beach at the western end of the Bolivar Peninsula, this 3 bedroom, 2 bath beachfront home is perfect for a single family. Enjoy views of cruise ships leaving Galveston Island and the lovely sounds of the waves crashing from the furnished deck! Captain Morgan is located in a quieter area of the peninsula but still only minutes from the stores, restaurants, and night life. You are also just moments away from the beach via the convenient beach access road!

The cute beachy interior of this cabin encompasses a cozy living area, well-appointed kitchen (both regular drip and Keurig coffee makers available), large granite island, and a dining table that is perfect for meals and games. You'll also appreciate the on-site washer and dryer, and high speed internet.
With 1100 square feet, the house easily sleeps 8. The first two bedrooms offer one queen bed in each, and the third bedroom has two twin beds. The sleeper sofa adds accommodations for two more.

Captain Morgan has a large yard with room for fun and entertaining, as well as a charcoal grill and an outdoor shower. You will enjoy the privacy and peace of this cabin, and want to return again and again!

No large gatherings are allowed at this property. Small dogs (under 35 pounds) are allowed with a pet fee. All Swedes Real Estate vacation rentals are non-smoking properties. Swedes does not rent to guests under 25 years of age.
The homeowner does not provide linens and towels, but, if you choose, they are available upon request from our linen service (additional fee applies).

We enjoyed our stay except there was a dead roach in frig then we found a live one crawling on our food!!! We killed 3 others crawling around. Other than that……I wish the fact we had to rent linens would have been more visible when booking. I missed it and found out after I was traveling there. Too late to take my own.

Great house very close to the beach

House it beachfront, although walking to the beach takes time so you might be better off driving. The porch is amazing to sit on for eating and hanging out. The house layout is amazing and was clean. Lots of hot water and the kitchen was well furnished. Would stay again!

Stunning View

The Captain Morgan Beach House has an excellent view, the sunset and neighborhood is exceptional. Not a Fan of the different Mask on the Walls but if you can get past those it's an excellent rental.

Great location but needs a deep clean, especially during COVID

Location is great and views off the deck are amazing. We were visited by the local skunk on two nights (only brief sightings). Things were definitely quieter during the week. House needs a deep cleaning and we spent the first few hours cleaning, especially during COVID. The pet-friendly property status was evident by the pet hair in one of the bedrooms. We were abruptly woken by all the smoke alarms at 3:00 AM due to some at least one battery that needed replacement. Overall, the problems we experienced were minimal and our stay was great. The size was just right for the five of us and having a beachfront property is worth paying a little more. Bring binoculars to watch all the ships and dolphins.

We had an overall great stay. There were 8 of us. We were comfortable. We could sit on the deck and look out to the ocean. Great view. The only negative was no linens. We got the linen service and had plenty of towels and sheets. Everything else is provided.

It was absolutely PERFECT!

We had an awesome time at the Captain Morgan on Crystal Beach March 21-25, 2018. We had 4 adults and three kids and all slept in the wonderfully decorated and maintained bedrooms and enjoyed the beach and the views from the deck! The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. Just a super short walk around the dunes to the beach. Thank you so much for helping us unwind and re-set - we WILL be back! HIGHLY RECOMMEND - Boliver is such a quaint place to be and everyone is so friendly - we shopped the BIG STORE just down from Swedes after picking up the key for our groceries and hit the Island Liquor store for a few things for the adults ;)

Loved our stay!

This house was a perfect size for 4 adults and 4 kids. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back. The home was very clean. The beach is just a short walk away or a quick drive if you have a lot to tow as we did with 4 kids. I loved sitting on the deck with the amazing view and sounds of the ocean. We are already discussing our next trip back this summer!
