"We loved staying at Sandy Cabins. The cabin was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and everything was as advertised. Our fur babies loved the sand and water and the lake front location was perfect. We think this might be our new yearly weekend get-a-way with our boys!"

"Great stay for our family of 4. Had everything we needed for the weekend. Also met some wonderful people staying in another cottage around the shared campfire. "

"The renovation of the home made it nice. Clean up could have been better. There was sawdust in the cupboard from mounting the microwave. The master bath toilet had not been finished, the water was not turned on. Owner was very helpful and was quick to return calls. We would 100% stay again."

"Exactly what is needed for a little get away! Such a cute cottage, wonderful outdoor space with fire pit and hot tub. Short walk to the most beautiful beach I have seen in Port Austin with a wonderful sunset view. Host was kind and accommodating. Would highly recommend this little get away! :)"

"We wanted to hike the state park and the nature center trails, visit Oak Beach and Port Austin, and this location was perfect for us. It was just as promised, and we really enjoyed our time there. "

"Unique 1906 Schoolhouse has great space for large group of 14 adults on a golf weekend in the Thumb. We played Verona Hills, Bird creek and Ubly Heights and the house is ideally situated for quick access to those courses. Bedrooms are large and the main floor is enormous and full of character. Great wood moldings throughout the house. House very clean and 3 fire pits. Will return for our tournament next year. Ryan very helpful. "

"We wanted a weekend away to play board games with friends, this was a great place for that! Quiet area within a short walk to a beach (to get moving between games) made for a relaxing and fun weekend."

"I loved the look and feel of this cottage. All the wood details reminded me of my stays in Caseville from when I was young. I love the windows and the sun room. We came up to view the Fall colors , and would like to come up when it’s warmer to enjoy the lake out the backyard! "

"The wife and I wanted to take a long weekend for our 18th anniversary. Had to bring the baby along. We stayed in a great house that could have accommodated our whole family and likely will some time in the future. Great house, well kept, nice are. Will recommend and revisit."

"This is a lovely location. It’s quiet, across from Lake Huron, you can walk on the side of the road, however driving to the public lake access is not far. Tiffany is a very gracious and kind host. We will definitely stay there again when over that way."
