Lovely stay with just one issue.
We stayed at Match Resort for one night
from Saturday to Sunday and overall, it was a very enjoyable experience. The lobby was beautifully decorated with pictures and artwork showcasing Jamaican culture, which gave it a warm and inviting feel. Check-in at the front desk was seamless, and the staff were friendly and professional.
One feature I especially appreciated was how breakfast orders are taken at the front desk upon check-in. This made the breakfast experience smooth and efficient the next morning. Speaking of breakfast, the stew chicken was absolutely delicious!
The pool area was lovely and well-maintained, and the pool itself was very clean. I also loved the coconut ice cream sold on the property
such a refreshing treat!
The only downside to my stay was a room mix-up. I had booked two king rooms one for myself and one for my sister. While my sister received a spacious and beautifully decorated king room, I was given a much smaller queen room due to an apparent oversight. Unfortunately, the hotel was fully booked, so no changes could be made. This was disappointing, especially since the room type had been booked in advance.
I would recommend that management double-check room assignments, particularly for online bookings, to ensure guests receive exactly what they paid for.
Despite that hiccup, Match Resort is a charming hotel with great service, clean facilities, and a relaxing atmosphere.
