"Not very good experience. Firstly I wasn’t informed before that they would have construction working going on, if I knew this I would have picked a different hotel. The work would normally start around 6:30am. Which is insane if you have guests. The railing on the balcony was rotting with holes. Very unsafe. The balcony doors didn’t lock, I was told they do lock but it’s complicated. It shouldn’t be complicated to lock a sliding door. Not been offered a refund for compensation, but a ONE...

The rooms are well designed and the food at the restaurant was great. There was not a whole lot to do within walking distance. But a lot to see and do on the island via tours. The location is within walking distance from many great sites, including Trafalgar falls. I'd recommend staying for more than 1 night to really enjoy the area. The spa and natural pools in the river where perfectly refreshing. There is no bug net, but the fan did the trick and there weren't many biting bugs around anyway. I'd highly recommend the dinner! The portions are generous!"

If you like to walk many tourist facilities like the Trafalgar Falls and Wotten Waven are at relative short distance (30-40 minutes walk). Berkey is a very kind person willing to assist you at all times. So the place is higly recommended "
