  • A Mountain Rose es una acogedora casa de dos dormitorios en los magníficos pinos y cedros de Pollock Pines en las montañas de Sierra. ¡Los árboles son abundantes y sus olores son relajantes y refrescantes! (Cumplimos con las leyes de alquiler de casas de vacaciones del condado de El Dorado. Permiso # VHR18-0700 y licencia comercial # 1738)

    Nuestra casa está ubicada a dos millas de la autopista 50 y a unas 50 millas de Sacramento y South Lake Tahoe. A solo un corto trayecto en coche de la famosa zona de Apple Hill o Placerville.

    Nuestra casita en el bosque es un gran lugar para una escapada romántica, familias o amigos. Está decorado de una manera para que la estancia de todos se sienta muy especial. No es como una vieja cabaña mohosa en el bosque. Nuestros pisos de madera ayudan a que nuestra casa sea aún más encantadora. Tenemos WIFI gratuito para aquellos que simplemente no pueden dejar la tecnología en casa. Consideramos alquileres a largo plazo. ¡Ven y disfruta de la relajación y los olores de los pinos después de un día de aventura y diversión!

    Nuestra cocina bien surtida es una delicia para preparar comidas para familiares y amigos. Puede disfrutar comiendo en nuestra barra de desayuno o en nuestra mesa de comedor que puede extenderse para grupos más grandes. ¿Tal vez disfrutarías hacer barbacoas y comer afuera? Hay mesas tanto en el frente como en los patios traseros. Es muy relajante comer y conversar afuera.

    Tenemos una maravillosa y acogedora chimenea para calentarlo o puede aventurarse afuera y disfrutar de nuestra fogata y contemplar el cielo nocturno para ver las estrellas. ¡Es posible que quieras asar malvaviscos y hacer deliciosos s'mores! ¡Una montaña rosa es como acampar en el lujo!

    En A Mountain Rose, tenemos muchas actividades para la familia, incluyendo una variedad de juegos de mesa, croquet, air hockey e incluso una mesa de ping-pong. Tenemos un televisor y ofrecemos muchos DVD para su disfrute. Pertenecemos a la asociación local de propietarios, por lo que puede disfrutar de las dos piscinas (Memorial Day-Labor Day), media cancha de baloncesto, cancha de tenis, campo de disco u otras actividades. ¡Hay algo para mantener a todos ocupados!

We made a last minute decision to spend a couple days in the area -- the host was extremely accommodating and we had a wonderful time. We snow shoed and hiked in the area

The host was great. Good location for our activities. Amazing heater. Fires are nice but not always convenient so the heater was enjoyed. Wood is offered by the host.

Home away from home

Most well provisioned vacation property. From cooking items to toys for the kids. Large backyard with fire pit, grill, and seating. Was perfect for our stay.

The property was fantastic. The host was very communicative and helpful whenever needed. She was willing to accommodate our hectic travel plans and made sure that everything worked out. The house was cozy and a great place for family to relax together and enjoy each other’s company. I’ll definitely be recommending to family and friends going to the area.

Beautiful little gem

Very cozy little place. We stayed here for a little over a month and not only does this place come fully equipped with everything you could possibly need but it just had a real comfortable you're right at home feeling. I also love the open fireplace. It gave such a peaceful ambience. Wonderful place to stay.

We stayed the entire month of June. Very much enjoyed the house and community. The owners were very helpful for the minor issue that arose.

We needed a quiet get-away for our two dogs, from illegal fireworks in Sacramento County. This VRBO was perfect for us. Nice old house remodeled and updated throughout with a generous yard for our dogs. The house is very close to town and surprised us with an awesome July 4th parade. There were several restaurants nearby to meet our needs since we don't like cooking while on vacation. Hiking on the Fleming Trail was challenging and fun. The home owner was very good about communicating and making sure everything was going great. There were only two of us plus the two dogs so we didn't take advantage of the many extras the house offered. This would be an excellent rental for families with kids. Cute, comfy amd well stocked

We had a wonderful stay. The house has everything you could want for a home away from home. The neighborhood is quiet and pretty. The clubhouse has 2 pools and a swingset. We had a nice stroll through the disc golf coures in the morning too. Super close to Jenkinson lake.

Very nice house, well maintained, great gateway to El Dorado National Forest

This is a very comfortable house for two couples (2BR/1Ba) with a well-stocked kitchen. We stayed here 3 nights while day hiking in the El Dorado National Forest. Quite close to a Safeway and a couple of good restaurants in Pollock Pines. Good, direct communication with the owner before/during/after our stay. Would not hesitate to stay again and highly recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in this area.

That's a perfect place to stay, both for adults only as well as families with small kids. Clean, with a well equipped kitchen, and enough space in one of the bedrooms from put a portable crib if needed. The property is all fenced so you can leave your kids/pets outside without fear of them running out on the street. And there are toys for kids, including some for outdoor play; really great to keep kids busy. We especially loved lots of outdoor space, and hope to come back again in fall and try out the fire pit.

Warm and Cozy

We had such a wonderful time resting and relaxing at A Mountain Rose! The house was clean and the kitchen fully stocked with kitchen ware and appliances. The house has everything that you need. We enjoyed the cozy wood fireplace while catching up on some reading. A short drive to Placerville was a fun trip! Catherine is such a gracious hostess, we are looking forward to the next trip.

Close enough for a mountain getaway

We wanted a base for a weekend of snow play and it was perfect. There's not much snow at this level which was what we wanted. Just a short drive to deep snow or ski resorts. The owner is very attentive and the home is very well appointed. It has everything you will need. It was cozy and comfy snd we would definitely stay again.

Wonderful!!

It was perfect. Very relaxing. Perfect location for days at Jenkinson Lake. Lazy days at the pool, and close to groceries. Catherine was kind and helpful. The nightly ping pong tournaments between the teen boys were epic. We all can't wait to come back again next summer. When your teenage son tells you it' was a "W" vacation, you know it's great.

Very nice house near Apple Hill.

Everything was as expected. Very clean and everything was well labeled. We have family and friends in the area and would have liked to have them stop by. There is a no guests policy at this property.

Wonderful Summer Retreat

We made a mid-week trip here for the first time from Napa and had a lovely time! Catherine the host was always available and helpful in getting our bearings. The community amenities and Sly Park Recreation area are very convenient. Home was very clean and cozy, with all the wares you need in the kitchen. If you're a movie buff, there is also a vast DVD collection to sift through. We'll be back.
