The carpet had burned marks all over it and stains and in places was missing carpet and built bar floor. The wallpaper was torn off the walls. The room was filthy dirty had not been cleaned and full of dust and dirt smoked disgusting so did the toilet and shower. "This is the second time we have stayed at this property and already booked to come back again. Everything you need for a pleasant stay. Free parking is also a bonus. Just a few minutes away from the showground where they hold antique fairs. Jeff is an excellent host and cooks amazing meals. Looking forward to going back again soon. "

"The room we stayed in needs a bit of tlc (mainly in the bathroom), however in terms of the size of the room generally it was decent enough and clean (don't think we could have done more than one night) The restaurant has a good variety of food and drinks (dinner / lunch) and the app is useful for ordering. Breakfast was ok at best. Seem to have few staff working and the cooked breakfast was a bit hit and miss. They could probably do with refreshing the continental breakfast bar menu as there...

"Excellent accommodation with restaurant. Menu high quality and good value. We originally planned to eat on only one of the nights of our stay but couldn’t resist a second sitting. Lucky with weather so we’re able to sit and have a drink by the pond. Cooked breakfast a bonus. Quiet setting just outside chard which was easy to find with ample parking"
