"We had a fantastic stay at this property! For the first time ever, the place actually felt larger than it looked in the photos. That was such a pleasant surprise. Everything was exactly as described in the listing, and the space was super clean and comfortable.The amenities really made our trip special: we enjoyed using the kayaks, relaxing on the spacious outdoor deck, and having the convenience of a washer and dryer right on-site. "This is a great whole home property that offers a lot of easy trip options. There is a super cute small downtown that is a good spot for breakfast / shopping. There is a grocery store super close to the house and the kitchen is well equipped for any meal. The home has no AC but did provide fans. "Lived in Mahone Bay for a while in 1981. Still such a picturesque town and beautiful coastline to explore.The lovely unit of Pam and David’s was clean, comfortable, quiet and beautifully decorated. Fully equipped kitchen, short walk to the main town. Private and elegant, parking, good Wifi, felt like home. Wish we could have stayed longer than 2 nights."

"A week at the Hilltop Retreat was great…a month would have been better. This quaint little cottage provided a cozy but plentiful space for our family of four. We enjoyed the large, open yard, with plenty of room for outdoor activities, and the beautiful ocean view while sitting and drinking coffee every morning. We made great use of the golf clubs, kayaks and bicycles. The cottage provided a great base for us while we explored the south shore. We hope to visit again very soon!"

"This property exceeded our expectations, offering a completely private setting, spotless cleanliness, and a warm welcoming atmosphere. The kitchen was exceptionally well-equipped, and the bed was very comfortable. Upon arrival, we found everything ready, including the fireplace and hot pool stacked with wood and ready to light, and i'll add, the wood-fired hot pool was a novel experience and a definite highlight.The property's natural setting, with Pennys Brook flowing beside the deck,...

"Once a year my lovelies and I rent a VRBO….this home hosted by Elise was remarkable in every way possible…I highly recommend this home…it was everything and more…Elise was a pleasure to deal with…we even had a few laughs ….we will definitely be back ….no complaints "

"This is a great place to stay in Lunenburg- a short walk to the harbour and the Fisheries Museum and right across the street from a school (great place for kids to play). Check in was easy and the home is cute and clean. The kitchen had everything we needed and there was a BBQ on the deck. The beds were comfy and the laundry facilities were full size. The home is bright and feels spacious and the private deck is a quiet and peaceful spot to relax. We would love to go back."

"Had a lovely stay. Hot tub and sauna were a welcome relief on a couple of cold, snowy days. The view of the ocean through the snow was nice. The stairs are a little steep but manageable. Everything you need is there. Enjoyed our stay. Thank you."

"Everything you need and more, lots of nice attentions, like wi fi, treats for us and treats and personal note for my service dog. Only negative is that there is no curtain on upper window making it too bright for early to bed persons or if you want to stay in bed after sunrise. But overall very happy with our stay."
