"Stayed at River View Lodge — unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend it. The rooms had a strong musty smell, likely because of the carpet and the lack of sunlight/airflow into the rooms, which made it feel like they never fully dried out.
The pool and hot spring tubs were definitely the highlight of the hotel. If you do decide to stay, I’d recommend requesting a room closer to the pool area.

However, our stay was not as pleasant as the previous year because there was no breakfast included ... not even coffee in the morning. Last year there was a marvelous breakfast, but because the hotel is under renovation, the dining area was not available. I expect that everything will be outstanding once the renovation is complete."

"This is our second year staying here and we'll definitely be back again! We've been to Ouray 5 times and this is our favorite place to stay. Having a full kitchen and utensils is the best. Steve and Nova take wonderful care of the property and are always ready to assist if needed though we didnt need anything. It's so thoughtful that they provide a welcome basket and towels for the hot springs. I love having our own space AND our own deck to hang out and enjoy the view."
