If you'd rather relax outside, kick back out on the deck in the fresh Adirondack air. As your stomach begins to grumble, retreat into the fully equipped kitchen to whip up some snacks! The kitchen features stainless steel appliances, sleek counters, subway tiles and open shelving for an elevated cooking experience.

After an action-packed day, wind down with a movie on the flat-screen cable TV. The 3 bedrooms and TV room each sleep 2 guests so you'll fall asleep in minutes.

With the house set on Lake Champlain, you'll have countless hours of fishing, boating and swimming at your fingertips. The popular sport fishing lake hosts bass tournaments throughout the year, in addition to guided fishing tours led by local experts! When the lake freezes over, ice fishing is also popular!

Don't forget your hiking boots to hike the numerous trails throughout the Adirondacks! You'll only be 8 miles from the Grand Canyon of the Adirondacks - Ausable Chasm - which boasts highlights including Rainbow Falls, Elephant's Head, Column Rock and Mystic Gorge! The more adventurous can raft, tube and even climb through and around the chasm!

Plattsburgh City Beach and Cumberland Bay State Park are both popular destinations to soak in the sun from a lakeside beach! Come winter, the activities don't slow down, with numerous trails open for snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. Whiteface Mountain Ski Resort is only 25 miles away, featuring 86 trails across 3 peaks! Looking for big city excitement? Make the 70-mile trip across the border to spend the day exploring the history and culture of Montreal!

I had an amazing stay! The home was spotless, and had all the amenities I needed. The location was perfect—beautiful lake views. I will absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Plattsburgh area.

The house was nicely furnished and the kitchen very well stocked. Overall a very good stay, but the oven and the washing machine were broken the entire time we were there and there were lots of cobwebs inside and on the deck furniture. Also, the access to the lake was overgrown. If those items had not been an issue, I definitely would have given five stars.

We came to support our nephew in a professional fishing tournament on Lake Champlain. The cabin has beautiful views of the lake and is within 15 min of many restaurants. The cabin was so comfortable. One constructive criticism would be to put a tv in the queen bedroom downstairs. Only 1 of 3 bedrooms had tv in them, so 3 adults piled in our 75 year old moms bed to watch tv. We still had a great time. We will rent again!

We spent the weekend in this beautiful home to visit our son attending SUNY Plattsburgh. The home is located in a beautiful location on a private lake side drive. The kitchen was ideal for cooking for a group and the fireplace made everything perfect. The. updated bathrooms added a very nice touch. Overall excellent stay, highly recommend.

House was clean, lovely lake views but lake frontage was rocky and slippery. It was difficult to access the lake without an inflatable raft. There is an air conditioning unit in one of the upstairs bedrooms otherwise it was very warm in the house Overall good experience and nice property

This property was immaculately kept! The house was beautiful, very clean, and well stocked with everything! Kitchen appliances were well though out, crockpot among them. The house was spacious and the grounds were lovely. Saw the comet in the evening, sunrise in the morning. It was perfect for us to retreat to, spend time together and relax in a beautiful, safe home away from home. Our family would love to come back next year. Thank you!

We loved the location and the updated kitchen and baths. Our only feedback or concern was around the cleanliness of the outdoor deck and grill, lack of screens in some windows on first floor and no wood visible for fireplace. It was chilly one night and we could not locate any wood.

House is exactly as described. Perfect in every way for our stay. The back deck is the spot to be!

My husband and I stayed here along with my three grown children in August 2019 and it was very relaxing. The home was fully equipped and there was plenty of space for everyone. The home looked just as good as the pictures. The deck looked brand new and was the perfect place to BBQ, relax and unwind as well as see the beautiful lake. Also close by was the Ausable Chasm if you are looking for a hike or rafting/tubing. I would however make a few recommendations kayaks, paddle boards or boat for use as well as a dock also I would recommend a few more fans as the picture windows on the main floor are beautiful they don't open which made it somewhat uncomfortable if there was no breeze. All in all I would recommend this home for any family looking for some summertime rest and relaxation.
