"Very cool building for a unique stay. I loved all of the fact boards that they posted throughout the hallways. I would say that the only negative was our room was next to a connecting room and you could hear the people in the other room pretty clearly. "

"Everything went well and was well organized and the directions were easy to follow. Communication was a little slow and we never got the wifi to connect to the internet. Other than that though it was a quality stay. "

"This house was absolutely beautiful! Such history! We were pleased with the size of the house. We had a four-year-old and two under two years old. We took our own pack 'n' plays and used the tall chairs for the kids. We highly recommend this home for others to stay. Enjoy the history, beauty, and large spaces. "

"Nice place conveniently located near attractions and excellent restaurants especially LC BBQ and Niece's Restaurant. We had weak phone signals and couldn't access the wifi but our host quickly answered our phone call and gave us the check in information we needed and tge redt of tge stay was very nice"

"To be honest, we were slightly nervous driving to the house, as the neighborhood to the north of the property appears to be a bit "rough". However, the house itself was surrounded by other (what appeared to be) rental houses. A short 3 block drive south and west took us into a much nicer neighborhood. "We were only there for one night. We baby sat our 8wk old grandson while kids went to the Banana Ball Game. It was comfortable. Beds were comfortable. Full kitchen with a hodge podge of plates/pans etc. If you plan to cook a lot, it might be a challenge. No prep or serving containers. "

"This place was very quaint. It’s a little hard to move around the kitchen area but it’s possible. The upstairs has enough space for everyone to be in their own space and they utilize the space well. They make sure you have enough fans and heaters. The bathroom is stocked and I am sure if you are missing anything they would be glad to help. Would stay again "

"I was so glad we chose your property over a hotel. It was a beautiful neighborhoo. We met one neighbor who was really nice. "Our family of 24 stayed here to celebrate our mom’s birthday. It was just perfect. Everyone had their own bed. The house and Barndo had everything we needed. The pickleball court is a great addition!! Owner is great to work with. "

"This property was perfect for our family of 6 adults and 6 children. A great house that brought back memories of when I was a kid. Plenty of room for each of three families to spread out and also great space for family meals and games. The house is close to everything to see in downtown KC. This VRBO has every amenity that you could ever need. Check-in was a breeze and we loved the easy process. If you are looking for a great experience in KC, this is the place for you and your family!!"

"We had a large group who were in town for a wedding at Powell Gardens. The accommodations were perfect. It allowed us to have our own rooms and space and come together for meals and entertainment. This place is very well appointed. Loved the separate apartment. Everyone had fun playing ping pong, and the other games. Great place to stay!!!"

"Had family fly in from North Carolina to attend my daughters graduation at KU. The accomdations were wonderful. The weather didnt cooperate for us to use the hot tub, but will definitely stay again. "

"Interesting older home and neighborhood to explore. Close to many attractions. Very dog friendly with small fenced yard. Host was very helpful and quick to respond. Enjoyed our stay. We will book again when we return to KC"

"Came on a 1-day trip w family of 5 (3 teens) bf a wknd bball tourney. Wanted more space than a traditional hotel (3+ beds, 2 bathrooms) without breaking the bank and this fit the bill. Check-in was easy (altho u do have to complete a pre-check w ID and some signatures online several hrs prior), and host communication was great. The space is GREAT: there’s a king suite (walk-in shower) and 2 semi-private ‘lofts’ w queen beds. I took off a star bc the walls r VERY thin, and if the tenants above...
