"Scenic property run “family lodge” style. No upcharge for canoes, kayaks. Excellent value in a beautiful area. We stayed in a dog-friendly unit - clean and spacious. Some areas dated but all safe and clear the property is being updated carefully."

"We stayed at Smuggler's Cove Inn from July 16-19 and had a wonderful experience. There were two adults in our party, and our room was spacious and comfortable, with a balcony and a beautiful ocean view. The property offers several great amenities. We used the pool once and found it clean and perfectly maintained. We also enjoyed dinner at the restaurant, which was excellent. "The motel has not been kept updated. A good portion, including the only soft chair in the room, is taken up by a large air-conditioning unit, and a portable heater. The railing in the shower is ready to fall down, as is a as is an outdoor railing by the steps. The bathroom is so tiny, that if you're on the toilet, your knees are against the wall. The shower is so tiny that an average size person has trouble turning around in it. The worst part, though, was they have some kind of air freshener,...
