"What a gem! We (two adults and two kids, 10 & 14) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pamlico Cottage. From enjoying our morning coffee on the pier to watching the dolphins swim by, the cottage is in a magical location. The kids loved kayaking and fishing. Mary was an exceptional communicator, making our whole experience seamless. The cottage is well supplied with everything you need, and we appreciated all the small touches like retro games, books, toiletries and a well stocked kitchen. Recommend...

"Such a beautiful view from the front seating area. The RV was very clean, looked and smelled new! Our host was very attentive and took good care of our requests quickly. Definitely will stay again when I visit my family nearby. "

"For once a brochure did not do a property justice. Had six adults and three small children stay with plenty of room for everyone. The view was beautiful, the dock very nice (about 4 feet of water toward the end), and the house itself just perfect. We will definitely return since the area was peaceful and just what we were looking for. We are going to miss our morning coffee on the back porch! "

"Clean, comfortable, updated, and welcoming property. The guest house is upstairs from the garage and has a fully-equipped living room, kitchen, bathroom, and outside decks. Outdoors, you can walk over to the dock and enjoy the view. The owners have two kayaks, a paddleboard, and a canoe for guest use - there's a ramp where you can launch next to the dock.The area has a lot of wildlife and coastal views, and it's not too far from areas like New Bern if you want to explore the town.We would...

"Heat went in and out causing us to freeze during the night because it was in the 20s outside. Other then that it was a pretty nice place to stay "

"I didn't expect it to be as remote as it was, but it was exactly what I didn't know I needed. A place to unwind. I caught bluebcrabs, spotted trout, drum, flounder, and even hooked (but not for long) a shark. And that was all without even getting in a boat. I saw a black bear, a bobcat, and turkeys on the road right outside the property when heading out for groceries around 5 pm. The sunrises were an intense tropical orange color that i haven't seen before; worth getting up at 5 for on a day...

"We had everything we needed. The space was just the right size for 3/4 people. The outside was a little cluttered but didn’t bother us. I would offer a couple of recommendations: 1. Having some firewood for the wood stove would be a great addition. 2. A pullout couch would be better than the futon. 3. Need some space to hang hunting gear to help keep things better organized. We truly had a great time and space was great hope to come back next year!"
