  • La lujosa Villa Katerina se encuentra en una zona tranquila de W. Creta, rodeado de impresionantes vistas de las montañas blancas y el mar.
    Villa Katerina cuenta con el distintivo especial de la Organización Turística Griega (EOT-1042K122K015040000) que garantiza el nivel de calidad de todos los servicios, términos y condiciones que nuestros huéspedes tienen el privilegio de disfrutar durante su estadía.
    Descanse en su propia hermosa piscina privada y aislada climatizada, escuche el canto de los pájaros y disfrute del aroma de las fragantes flores.
    Con vistas a su propia piscina privada, y al mar, una de las habitaciones está en la planta baja y tiene una cama king size y baño con ducha con hidromasaje.
    Los otros dos dormitorios están en el primer piso. Uno de ellos tiene una cama doble y baño privado con bañera jacuzzi. El otro tiene una cama doble grande y un baño con ducha de hidromasaje.
    Desde las dos habitaciones de arriba, se accede a una gran terraza con vistas a los olivares, las Montañas Blancas y el mar.
    En la planta baja hay un salón / comedor de planta abierta con un sofá grande para 6 personas, un sillón y una gran TV con pantalla LCD. DVD y CD reproducidos también se proporcionan. También hay una cocina totalmente equipada con horno, nevera-congelador, lavavajillas, microondas, lavadora y todos los requisitos necesarios para cocinar una comida de su gusto.
    El interior de la villa está climatizado para su comodidad en los días calurosos de verano.
    Para los días de frío, posiblemente a principios y finales de la temporada, hay calefacción en toda la Villa y una acogedora chimenea en la sala de estar. Fuera de la Villa en un lugar designado puede encontrar un montón de madera.
    Disfrute de los placeres de las tabernas locales, o coma en su piscina en las noches cálidas y largas.
    Ya sea que esté buscando unas vacaciones totalmente relajantes o más aventureras, descubrirá que Villa Katerina es la base perfecta.
    Acercamos aún más la naturaleza a usted y a su mesa con más frutas y verduras de nuestro jardín y huevos frescos de un pequeño gallinero a pocos metros de la Villa. Puedes recoger verduras y huevos solo !!!
    Paquete de bienvenida: Un paquete de bienvenida lo esperará en la Villa, que consiste en productos orgánicos frescos tradicionales.
    Una botella de aceite de oliva, raki y vino local de Yianni, la propia granja del marido de Katerina.
    Para su disfrute de desayunos en su terraza con vista a la piscina, hay un paquete de desayuno que consiste en pan, jugos naturales, huevos, tocino, miel y mantequilla, a su llegada. ¡Pídeme huevos, aceite, raki y miel extra durante tu estancia!
    Se proporcionan toallas de baño y piscina, champú, gel de ducha, acondicionador y secador de pelo.
    La Villa se limpia dos veces por semana, lo que incluye cambio de sábanas y toallas (baño y piscina).

Beautiful villa with comfy beds. Everything you could need in the kitchen for cooking, lovely pool, although in September it didn't get full sun. Quiet location. Owner could not do enough for us. Excellent taverna 2 mins walk away. Okay taverna for snacks down the hill, few mins walk. Need car for shop.

This is a fabulous place to spend a holiday in North west Crete. The village is lovely with a few restaurant, a little shop and access to lovely beaches nearby, all in the guest book with special recommendation from the host. The villa is well set up with the view of the sea and a lovely walk in the mountains. The heated pool was the highlight for our children. Manos was such a caring host, we arrived to a lovely stocked kitchen and he even sourced a yoga mat for me. Above and beyond, we look forward to another stay

We had a fantastic stay during two weeks! A wonderful secluded villa in a quiet village, with all the appliances you need - and more! The Nespresso machine was very appriciated for the luxury morning coffee at the pool terrace. The nearest restaurant was a short 100 meter walk from the House, and the next taverna another 150 meters away. And the service!!! Manos offers only the best and is always going the extra mile to make your stay as good as it can be. Pristine service all the way!I couldn’t recommend Villa Katerina and Manos enough, and we would love to come back one day.

A wonderful place to relax - a great base for exploring Crete

The villa looked great in the photos - and lived up to all our expectations. The pool is delightful and the en suite bathrooms for all three rooms plus the huge beds are all great. Manos is an excellent host - quick to communicate, eager to help, full of useful advice about the area and generous with his gifts!

Wir haben zwei wunderbare Wochen in der Villa Katerina verbracht. Der Pool mit dem kleinen Kinderpool war das absolute Highlight. Das Grundstück ist schön, mit Meerblick und von außen nicht einsehbar. Manos hat sich super um uns gekümmert und hatte viele tolle Tips, was man in der Umgebung machen kann. Die Lage in Spilia ist toll, um die Westküste zu erkunden. In Spilia selbst gibt es drei Restaurants/Tavernen, um essen zu gehen.

One of the best - fantastic stay

Having stayed on Crete 3 times now, can definitely say this is our favourite - Villa Katerina is a fantastic place to stay with the family - if you want seclusion but also being within a v.short drive to beaches and restaurants ( there are 3 within walking distance as well) - one of the best pools we have had and great bedrooms, air conditioning that works very well - finally, the owner, Manos is great to work with - very nice welcome gifts and then brought further gifts during our stay - all local produce - thanks to Manos for being such a great host - will hope to return

Amazing property and host

The only thing more amazing than Western Crete is this property and the only thing better than this property is the host! Villa Katerina and the owner, Manolis, are both truly special and we will always remember our stay here! I don’t know where to start but Manolis went above and beyond in every way and the house, the pool, the food exceeded our expectations in every way. Highly recommend Villa Katerina if you are planning a trip to Western Crete!

Beautiful villa

Beautiful setting in a small village. Sea views, beach about a 10 min car journey. Fabulous pool and good quality sun loungers. Well equipped villa with everything you need to cook or BBQ. Great local, friendly taverna 2 mins walk away. Host Manolis was so helpful, responding to any query very quickly and providing us with lots of Cretan specialties and treats. We had a great stay - wish we had booked for longer !

Amazing Holiday!

Just a fantastic holiday! Beautiful villa which has everything you could possibly need. The pool is beautiful and so relaxing. Manos we can’t thank you enough for all your help and generosity. We hired a car and got to see the Mose beautiful sunsets and beaches. Stunning food at the local restaurants. Can’t fault this holiday and will be back! We have older kids ages 14 and 17 and they just loved it! Thank you xx

Wir verbrachten eine Ende Oktober eine Woche in dieser wunderschönen Villa und haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen! Der Besitzer der Villa ist sehr gastfreundlich und hat uns mit ein paar köstlichen Speisen versorgt. Der Pool ist wirklich toll. Jeden Morgen nach dem Frühstück auf der Terrasse haben wir mit unseren Kindern hier gleich ein paar Bahnen gedreht und die Sonne genossen. Als Ausgangspunkt für Touren in West-Kreta ist die Villa sehr gut gelegen. Elafonissi Beach, Falasarna Beach, Balos Beach, Chania, Samaria-Schlucht, ... sind gut zu mit dem Auto zu erreichen. In Kolymvari haben wir ein paar nette und gute Restaurants besucht. Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub und vermissen die Villa schon!

Great House

The Villa is even better than you can see on pictures in the web-sites, you are in a quiet position near Hania(15 minutes by car)and some very nice beaches(Falasarna our favorite one). The property is cleaned and towels and blankets are changed twice a week. The owners are very friendly and always ready to give advices or help. This is a place I would surely reccomend to a friend and I hope I will pass some time there again sooner or later.

Perfect Holiday and Host

Lovely Villa in a great semi-remote location, beautiful grounds, garden furniture and pool which we all hugely appreciated and enjoyed We had everything we needed already there, but host Manos ensured we had an amazing stay, by leaving a welcome hamper of food and drink, bringing more lovely homemade treats during our stay and was there if we needed anything else in super fast time There are 2 Tavernas within walking distance and a shop not too far by car, as well as the lovely Kolymvari just over 5 minutes away with its shops, restaurants and harbour Would happily stay here again without hesitation

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this beautiful villa in Spilia, Kolymbari. The location is perfect—peaceful and private, yet conveniently close to Chania, Falassarna Beach, and Balos Lagoon, making it an ideal base for exploring western Crete.The villa itself is stunning. The Mediterranean garden is lush and well cared for, creating a relaxing atmosphere, and the wooden sunbeds by the pool add a charming, natural touch. One of the highlights was definitely the heated swimming pool with its breathtaking sea view—perfect for both daytime relaxation and sunset moments.A special mention goes to Manolis, the owner, who truly made our stay unforgettable. Lovely villa and pool

Just returned from a week's stay in Villa Katerina - by far one of the best villa's we have stayed in!The pool area is fantastic, comfortable high quality sun beds (not the cheap plastic ones) and lovely shaded area to sit at when the sun is too hot! The upstairs patio area with sun shade is great - with fantastic views out over the sea. The kitchen is well stocked including washing stuff (as well as the clothes washing machine). The bathroom toiletries were amazing as well - definitely 5* hotel quality items!Manos was a great host as well - left us lots of food & sweets throughout our stay, and was always on hand checking that everything was ok - which is was!The two local taverna's in the village were very good - we ate there 4/5 times throughout the week.Would recommend Villa Katerina 100% to anyone who is looking to stay in the area!

Tranquility & relaxation in perfect location

The house comes with all necessary features for a relaxed stay. Be it the well equiped kitchen, the prettty bathrooms or the comfortable beds. The bright living room openes to the outside terrace. But without doubt, the highlight is the pool area surrounded by olive trees giving the choice to get some sun or reading a book in the shade. The village is quite and you rarely see a car going around. Fee walking minutes there are two tavernas to choose from, both offering delicious greek cuisine. Even though its remote character, the house is easy to reach and just few minutes by car from the highway - making it a perfect home base to explore the north and westcoast. Manos is a great host, welcoming me upon arrival and was making sure I had all I need. Great stay!

Unexpectable experience!!

We booked this Villa for 10 days during the wintertime!!! We saw the photos firstly and the reviews which were unbelievable and that's it!! When we arrived we saw many differences at the villa. The Villa is more beautiful than the photos!!! New fence, new doors, new garage area, what a surprise!!! The pool of course as every guest mentioned is fantastic! Manolis informed us that he also changed all the mattresses. We had such a nice sleep!! 10 days resting, eating, and drinking local wine. We also had the opportunity to meet Manolis who gave us many ideas for things to do during this no-tourist period. Manolis was (as all the reviews mention) very generous and he make as feel like home! We will be back!!

The perfect villa in Western Crete

I’m not sure what impressed us more between the host and the villa itself. This was an unbelievably well executed Holiday stay from check-in to check-out. First, about the host. He’s incredible! Affable, earnest, helpful, flexible, and a wonderful person with whom to interact. He takes your vacation stay seriously and sees to it personally that you have a wonderful time. There’s a notebook in the villa of what to do and where to go with his recommendations. You arrive and the refrigerator is stocked with treats and local specialties. He’s responsive to inquiries/requests and flexible to your preferences. This is the host I want for every VRBO, forever. He’s really that good. The villa itself is gorgeous. The little village of Spilia is wonderful! Partially up the mountain with views to the Mediterranean (from the villa’s back yard!). A couple of delicious local taverns within walking distance. 1km up the hill is the cave/historical attraction/Orthodox church of St. John the Hermit. The villa itself was pristine, well-appointed, and very comfortable. The pool was an extravagance our daughters enjoyed daily. There’s an outdoor downstairs table set in the shade of the upstairs balcony with views of the town, mountains, and sea; we ate at that table daily. The furnishings are attractive, comfortable, as pictured, and exactly what I would wish for on this type of stay. Air conditioners by room let everyone set their preference for comfort. And the location gave us 30-60 minute driving access to pretty much everything the prefecture of Chania has to offer, from Southwest beaches (e.g. Elafonissi) to old town Chania proper. We chose this villa because every review seemed to rave about how great the place was. They were spot on. If you’re considering a stay in/around Chania, I wouldn’t even consider another location. Thank you!
