"We are a family of four (2 adults and 2 boys ages 15 and 13) and we stayed 2 nights in the BoardingWorld Heidelberg in July 2026. Our stay was mixed good/bad. Let's start with the good: Heidelberg is charming and BoardingWorld is well located, with main attractions within walking distance. The room felt fairly spacious and comfortable and the building had charm. We had a shared balcony overlooking a pleasant backyard. The wifi worked well, the room had a kitchenette, and parking on the street...

"The room was nothing fancy, but fine, and in a good location near the Old Town. I didn’t use the kitchen except for the fridge, as space was quite small and only one pot was provided. Honestly, just a microwave would be more convenient than the burners, as there’s not much room to prep.
The single bed was very soft, as was the pillow, so sleep quality wasn’t great. That might be personal preference, though.
It really is more apartment than hotel, so know that going in. No front desk staff...

"ロケーションは、駅からやや遠いが徒歩圏内である。キッチンは狭く、食器と鍋はあるが、フライパンは無い。食洗機は小さい。二泊なのに洗剤は１個しかない。コーヒーも１日分しかない。
最大の問題は、２名で予約したのに、１名分のタオル、布団、枕しかセットされていない。チャットで対応してくれたが、土日なので対応できないから、自分でリネン庫から補充するように言われた。何と か布団カバーとタオルを探し出して寝ることはできた。
次の日に部屋にタオルが補充されていた。
トラブルはつきものだが、この旅行で最大のトラブルであった。"

"The attic apartment was a great find! View of the main Neckar River bridge on one side and view of the Heidelberg castle on the other side!! Big bedroom, small kitchen, nice bathroom with shower, separate bathtub, 2 sinks! Just be prepared to walk up little stairs to the 5th floor, which was a bit hard with luggage but fine after that. And there is an underground parking structure about 2 blocks away if you bring a car or public transportation bus stops right in front of apartment."
