It was such a great place to escape the heat, the stress of driving around Sicily using google maps, and traveling in general. Masseria del Carboj has modern amenities, nice aesthetics, a beautiful pool in the middle of vineyard, and feels like you're in Napa valley. The restaurant (Racina) at the hotel is absolutely amazing, like Michelin star level food, so definitely eat here when you stay. "

"Let’s begin by saying how beautiful this hotel is. You are literally close to everything. Second the staff is probably the best you will find at any Hotel. The level of comfort is second to none. If your from another planet you will feel at home there. Breakfast was excellent."

"The room is spacious, new and clean. The location is good if you are taking bus as the bus terminal at the upper historic town, then can just walk to lower historic town. Breakfast can pick the cafe on list and Silvia has recommended some good restaurants and pizza shops too. "

"I’ve stayed here several times and the experience is always top notch! The location is perfect just a stone’s throw from the main square. Angela in reception is one of the most kind and helpful people one could ever meet. The room is clean and well equipped. Great Job!"

"We really like hotel - the area is beautiful. The products they offered were amazing. There were a few things I thought were not communicated well. One of the major roads to the property was closed which meant we were driving around in circles. An email warning would have been helpful. We informed Google maps but they should have done that. "Fabulous location and a fascinating building - highly recommend the little tour that you can take to learn about the history. The pool is lovely, as is the walking in the countryside around the abbey - other than that there's not a lot to do other than soak up the atmosphere. We stayed for two dinners and one lunch.
