The location of the property is perfect. We could get dropped off by taxi nearly at the door but were also walking distance from everything in the walled city we wanted to see."

"The Villas at Victor Hugo was a lovely place. Very convenient for our days in Avignon. The Expedia listing for the apartments is incorrect in that it lists washer and dryer for the apartments - but it seems that there is only one or two apartments that have that amenity. This was a big negative but not a reflection of the host as they have repeatedly tried to get Expedia to correct the error."

"We were offered an upgrade to stay on the second floor which is the third floor if you are an American. Beware if you have large suitcases, as there are no elevators. We had to practically empty our suitcase to get the contents up the stairs. There is a washing machine/dryer combo in the community kitchen, but it takes hours to wash and dry your clothes. Don't plan on doing much laundry. We did enjoy the spaciousness of the apartment once we got settled. The location was quite convenient if you...

"Apartment was a little dated and tired, but generously sized, clean and well equipped.
Staff very helpful and courteous. Parking space was limited and not always possible to park close to the door. Breakfast was good. Swimming pool was convenient and quiet and much appreciated as weather was exceptionally hot. Hotel was ideally placed to use as a base when touring the area."

"Wir waren acht Tage hier und hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit. Die Angestellten sind alle sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die kleine Wohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet, das man benötigt. Die Dusche ist etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, da sie auf eine Seite hin offen ist und man somit auch den angrenzenden Flur mit unter Wasser setzt. Spätestens nach dem zweiten Mal klappt es dann.
