The house is very well designed and accommodates our very large extended family, with plenty of rooms for sleeping and great open spaces to sit and talk. "I grew up on a farm, so I knew what to expect. My family thought it was great! The apartment is actually in the barn, so every morning I was able to open the door and say good morning to the goats and ducks. Our apartment was awesome and very accommodating. "Pictures and description are spot on. Yes this is a small rental but it was perfect for our short getaway. Extremely clean and tidy, bed was comfy and kitchenette was spotless. View into blooming spring woods was gorgeous and plenty of birds to watch. Only improvements could be a full length mirror and salt and pepper shakers."

"Quiet and peaceful. Visiting friends from AK. This was an excellent spot nearby. "

"Absolutely love this house and the location. Visited with my wife, dog and parents. Complete relaxation. Used the kayaks most days and fished from the canoe and row boat. Sadly no fish were caught but I'm sure they enjoyed the supply of fresh worms! I'd highly recommend."

"Convenient location relative to Stowe and Burlington. It was a great stay for us and our dog with a gorgeous view behind it. The ceilings are a bit low, my 6’4” husband struggled and I at 5’8” had to watch my head. The hosts are lovely. Definitely recommend! "

"I love the fact that our host has put everything one needs to feel @ home. Robes, coffee machine, grinder, all kinds of cooking pots, towels, hair stuff, seasonings, grill etc. You don't have to bring much. Comfy for 2 & puppy, this is our go to cabin."

"We loved this property. Very clean. Very spacious. Amazing views from good size balcony. Host always responded promptly when I had questions. Very comfortable. Very pretty.A few minutes from town of Stowe which was so convenient. Kitchen appliances and dishes, etc. were clean and plentiful. Eating and Living area cozy, roomy and comfortable . My little dog loved it too. We hope to return. "

"We had a lovely stay at Maple Corner Cottage. The location was perfect, easy bike ride to the corner store and accessible to so many swimming spots, forests, Stowe, Montpelier, etc. The house was clean, well stocked with kitchen supplies (so many coffee making options!), and fit our 4 person family and pup comfortably.We found it easier to drive to the public swimming beach on the pond rather than walk the kayaks down the road to the neighbor's pond access point.
