Sea Shell Haven Family Home, 300 yards from the beach, 2 private docks, Grill!

We are located in the center of Little Gasparilla Island approximately 100 yards from the bay and 300 yards from the Gulf of Mexico. (See location map) From our home you can fish, crab, or shrimp off one of two private docks, search the miles of white sand beach for exotic sea shells, surf fish the beautiful waters of the gulf, or just relax and enjoy the gorgeous beach that Little Gasparilla Island is famous for.

PLEASE NOTE: Maximum length on a boat is 24 feet. Can not be any longer. One boat only.

Sorry we do not accept pets.

Access to the island is by your own boat or there is a private water taxi(search Pirates Water Taxi)available at a reasonable rate. This lack of a bridge makes LGI unique and adds to it's relaxed atmosphere. There are no paved streets only sand roads with the main mode of transportation golf carts and foot power. Rental golf carts are available through Paradise Carts or LGI Carts.

We built this home for our family to use and it has worked perfectly for us and will for you too. There are 4 bedrooms all with king size beds and 2 full baths and 2 half baths. The Living room and each bedroom has a TV connected to Dish Network. There are porches on front and back and 2 decks off the second floor bedrooms. The living area is very open so everyone can be together whether cooking dinner or watching TV.

The house has everything you need to have a great vacation. From a kitchen complete with all appliances, pots and pans, and a complete selection of spices to beach chairs for relaxing on the beautiful white sand beach. Our house has it all!!

Downstairs is another large deck for relaxing and a large outside shower with hot and cold water.

We had substantial damage from Hurricane Ian in September 2022. It took us over a year to repair, renovate and redecorate. The biggest transformation was to the kitchen, dining and living room. We have all new cabinets with quartz counter tops, new stainless steel appliances and updated lighting. There is all new furniture in the living room and dining room and new flooring in most of the downstairs.

The house has everything you need for a great vacation. All linins. A kitchen complete with all appliances, pots and pans and a selection of spices. There are beach chairs for relaxing on the white sand beach.

Loved Our Stay!

We would highly recommend Sea Shell Haven and would stay here again. The house was incredibly clean with everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and the living room and dining room had enough space for our whole family. Robert was very responsive and great to work with. We love LGI and if you’re thinking about making a trip here, you won’t be disappointed staying here!

Another great island experience!

We absolutely loved this home and location!! The home was clean, spacious and a great location on the island. Robert was very kind and helpful with all the questions we had before and during our stay. We are looking forward to returning!

From Alaska to the Island life

We had a 3 generation family trip to Florida from Alaska. Getting to and from the island was a lil tricky with some gusty winds but once we reached the home we were very happy it was very clean and beautiful. Beds were comfy and there was room for all. The beach was a ways away so def suggest renting the go-cart not only for the beach but to explore the back roads and seeing the beautiful homes. We walked the beach over and over and had a lot of success finding beautiful shells also One eyed willys pizza was a great treat. Thank you and hope to come visit again!

Great LGI Beach House

We really enjoyed our stay here. House is very clean, has recently been repainted, appliances are great, very nice and relaxing vibe. Tons of areas to hang out as a group or in smaller numbers. Love the back balcony as well as the large open space feel inside! We were a family of adults but this place would be great for kids as well. Upper balcony section has a gate so that the stairs can be closed off and smaller kids can play safely. Great area of LGI, very quiet and close to bay and beach.

Great Family Stay

The house had everything we needed. We had family of 10 and we enjoy every minute. I would recommend renting a golf cart specifically if you have older family members. Check in and out was very easy. Thank you! I would definitely be coming back.

Nice house and great location!

The house was clean, fit 10 people comforstocked with everything we needed. The only thing we really had to take was our clothes and food!! I would definetly recommend this location to anyone looking for a place to rent on LGI. We will be back!!

The Dream Week!

Having stayed here a few years ago, it was far greater than I even remembered. The check in was seamless. The house was beautiful, clean and comfortable. Being a Floridian I was amazed at how well the A/C worked😁. I was able to surprise my wife as a mother’s day gift and she was in no way disappointed. Between the ease of fishing from my own boat to the days of relaxation on the beach, it was the total package for my family. Thanks to the owners for sharing this blessing! We will definitely be back again!

Perfect Set Up

We had 7 adults and 3 kids under the age of 6 and this house had the perfect set up for us. Convenient to both the dock and the beach. Every adult had their own room and the kids were able to blow up an air mattress. We spent many evenings on the back porch as well enjoying a beer and the quiet evening. We definitely would go back!

Excellent location

My family and I loved staying at this property. The house is beautiful, spacious, and quiet. There is easy access to both the bay and the ocean. The walks are short to either side, however we also rented a cart to make carrying fishing poles, tackle, beach stuff, etc more convenient. We had no problems at all during the stay. The 2nd and 3rd floor porches were used a lot by everyone in the family. Great place, would definitely rent again :)

Disappointing

I don't know how people can have rated that house as a clean one. I've never rented a house so dirty. We had to start cleaning since we got there . Food, plastic, paper, sand, everything under the sofas, dust all over . The floor had footprints just to be clear . All furniture concentrated in the corner of the room. Cleaning for me is essential, It is the least that an owner can offer ... The second floor of the house has a carpet that looks like has never been cleaned. Not to mention the appliances that don't work, the shower drain clogged (the house is for 10 people but he only have 6 forks ...).and Robert, the beach umbrella cost 20.00. How do you rent a beach house, in an island that you only can get by boat without any beach chair or umbrella for your guests. Disgusting . Very bad stay .

Island Escape

With a great layout for families and a wide wrap-around deck, this property exceeded our expectations! The location was perfect - just a short walk to both sides of the island we were able to get back and forth to our boat or the beach without any trouble. We had rented a golf cart as well which made it even more convenient. Robert was incredibly responsive in answering our questions and ensuring we had a pleasant stay. The home was clean and well-stocked and met all our needs. Thank you, Robert, for opening your home - it provided a very memorable and relaxing vacation for our family!

Had a great time! The house was great and we had plenty of room. The beach is awesome! Only things I would say is make sure you rent a golf cart (reserve it ASAP) and the beds were very firm (probably just personal preference)

Christmas Vacation

The inside of the home was very nice. It was comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. It was perfect for the six of us. LOVED having the large bedrooms and all the bathrooms available. Loved having the extra towels and the Laundry detergent available. Kitchen had everything we needed but definitely needs to update pots and pans. The deck was very nice and spent a lot of time out there. It rained quite a bit so it was not to have a covered porch and the grill to cook with. I wished we would have booked a Golf cart earlier... they were all gone when I called. The walk to the beach was a bit longer than I originally thought. The outside of the property was O.K. lots of rubbish on the side of the home and a VERY large beehive on the side of the home that looks like has been a problem for them as it looked as they keep trying to cover the holes. Owners were always available for my questions. Overall a nice home and we enjoyed our stay on the island.

This was our second time staying here and once again wonderful. This is the perfect house for a large group. Very roomy and full size beds in each room. Robert was quick to respond to my question and very helpful
