"This was an excellent location for a retreat. It was expansive with plenty of places to gather and to be alone. There were plenty of large bedrooms and private bathrooms. The kitchen was perfect for group meal preparation. The game room was a fun space to turn off the work and enjoy some recreation."

The AC worked without any issues, which we were especially thankful for with 102-degree weather.There’s a Keurig coffee maker available, but we opted to buy a pour-over from the nearby Co-op (about a 15-minute walk). "Very cool property with a lot of beautiful land to walk around. The house is unique with a lot of character, and was perfect for our family trip. The pool is wonderful. Great amenities and friendly hosts who were very responsive and attentive. The location is especially perfect if you love wine tasting! Would absolutely come back. "

"First this place is convenient for being right downtown Sac. There is adequate parking. The bbq was not user friendly. The neighborhood is quiet at night. However, my sister did have to go spend about 150 on cleaning supplies as the floors and countertops (which are wrapped in a plastic wrap with a design) were dirty. The floor in one shower the paint was peeling back. There is no washer as stated..it is a coin op down the street which had no working washing machines and no soap to wash if...

"We had a large 5 family group celebrating the end of our homeschool year learning about CA history. This was a perfect central location for that! We visited Sutter's Fort, Sutter's Mill, The Capital, RR Museum, Gold Bug Mine & downtown Placerville. The house was perfect for the families with kids that ranged from 1.5 to 16y. "We had a great stay! We did not get to stay at this house due to a plumbing issue but the owner was quick to communicate and move us to another place. Overall we had a great time and it's close to lots of stores. Very quiet neighborhood and comfortable beds. "
