Hidden Gem in Sharpsburg

Less than 5 miles from Downtown Pittsburgh, you will find peace in this hidden gem. Located in the borough of Sharpsburg above a local beauty salon here lies the comfort of this cozy apartment. With it's own private entrance and backyard space, tucked away from it all enjoy your time in this two bedroom apartment equipped with all your essential needs.
The space
This two story building provides a beauty salon on the lower level and a courtyard entry to the apartment above. Entering on Clay Street, through the well lit courtyard is the apartment entry way.

In the master bedroom overlooking Main Street there is a queen size comfortable bed and a walk-in closet. The second bedroom provides a full size futon and office space. Enjoy the open living space adjacent to the kitchen, and full dining area.

Nearby there are various local restaurants, shopping areas and community activities.




Violations & Grounds for Termination:

• NO SMOKING in the unit. There will be a $300 violation fee if evidence of smoke is detected. This fee will pay for deep cleansing.

• NO PETS on the premises. There will be a $300 violation fee if evidence of pets and/or service animals are detected. This fee will pay for a deep cleaning due to severe allergy concerns.

• ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES are prohibited. Evidence of any substances will be reported.

• NO EXTRA GUEST are allowed. Under advisory and extreme circumstances considered I may allow an additional guest for a fee of $150/night pending proper ID and balance payment.

Please Note:

This is a commercial property building, it is not built to be totally soundproof. Please be considerate that a professional business is being conducted on the lower level.

There is an onsite camera, please do not tamper with WIFI or camera equippment. Report any malfunctioning immediately, attempting to repair or fix any equipment will result in a replacement fee.

There is a free washer and dryer in the unit, which seems to be giving trouble. Repair has not been made yet. The washing machine knob is difficult to use, if you're able to use this free amenity feel free to do so.

Good stay, easy process.

Was a nice apartment with everything you need. It was close and convenient to almost anything in the city. Only issue is there is no air conditioning even tho it’s listed in the add. When I asked renter she told me there was none but is she had time she would bring a portable one. I said ok not the biggest deal but would appreciate it if she could (thinking she might be far from rental). She never brought a/c but had time to knock on door to tell me my brothers 7 and 8 year old were being too loud even tho they were listed as coming.

Nice Place

Nice place and comfortable beds. A little hard to find the entrance and parking was a little tough but overall the place was good. I’d recommend for a stay and may book again in the future.

Fine once we found it

The place was as described and there was enough sleeping space for the 6 of us. The only issues were finding parking and finding the actual entrance. We had to walk through a narrow, dark alley way to find the rear (only) entrance. It looked like there were lights that lined the alley, but they were not on/working which made it dark and a little sketchy given we had small children with us. Overall a fine stay with close proximity to Pittsburgh.

We only needed a place to sleep, this fit the bill.

The only down side to this location is the lack of parking. Also, there was supposed to be a hair dryer and instead there was an air brush. The beds were comfortable and that is what we were looking for.

Great Pittsburgh Neighbourhood

The apartment was in a neat neighbourhood (great brunch at Senza) and was easy to find. Parking was pretty easy also. Spacious accommodation and has everything you need. Communication with Kelly was awesome. Would recommend!

Perfect place for me and the kids to stay while exploring Pittsburgh. Good central location so it was easy to get to the zoo, station square and different restaurants. Affordable, clean nice apartment.

Very comfortable!

We rented this adorable apartment before dropping our daughter off at college. The place is very comfortable and reasonably price. Kelly was very quick to respond to my questions. It was a little tricky to find, we would have been lost without Kelly’s guidance.

Just Ok

My over all rating is a 3 only because we made the best of our stay enjoying the city of Pittsburgh. In the reviews that were left everyone said the communication with the host was great and I found it to be NOT so great. There were many late responses or non at all. I honestly felt like I was more of a bother than welcomed. Although, she did say we could text her if we needed anything but neglected to give a phone number. The unit was very hot during the day but did cool off ok by night, except for the tiny middle room,The traffic is really loud especially in the master bedroom and the whole building shakes when big trucks drive by. The area seemed a little sketchy at first but ended up being a working class neighborhood that seemed quaint with a great bakery nearby. Must say we did not spend much time at the unit other than to shower and sleep. There were no ice cubes. We had to use the blow up mattresses because we had a party of 6. Not a lot of room for 2 blow up mattresses but we made it work.The sheets provided had stains and tears in them.The soap dish in the shower was dirty with dust/lint but a new bar of soap was provided. There wasnt any checkout instructions so we cleaned up best we could similar to our stays in other places. The host messaged me 2 hours after we departed thanking us for our stay and told me to take our garbage with us… which is bizarre. In conclusion, it was pretty clean and a fine place for a very short stay.just don’t expect much from the host.

Great stay and great host!

Place was exactly what we needed for a short 2 day trip to explore Pittsburgh. There were lights at the entrance to guide us to the door in between the adjacent buildings. Host gave good directions and tips on easily finding the place and where to park. Very easy check in and checkout process.

Wonderful little attic walkup that was a perfect spot after a long day. We got in later than expected but the owner was kind, responsive, and incredibly helpful. Would stay here again, no problem.
