"Lovely, warm and well equipped cottage in a quiet area. Comfortable beds and the whole place was super clean, definitely recommend and would stay again."

"Had some trouble with comms initially but all was sorted and the accommodation and hosts were so lovely and accommodating!"

"We stayed here at the end of our trip and it was the perfect place to relax, enjoy the beautiful scenery and listen to the sounds of the surf and birds. Seth, Nuala and David all made a point of stopping by to see how we were settling in and it was lovely to read the history behind the creation of the villas. Cannot recommend this place enough - would still be there if we could ☺️"

"Great location, easy to find.Wonderful home for accommodating 7 adults and a baby. Everything thing we needed was provided. Lots of cookware and utensils. Great outdoor space, lovely room and very comfortable home. "

"Warmly welcomed though allowed privacy. Everything we needed was provided. Very comfortable beds. Great having the 2 studios. Easy access and parking near the door without steps to climb. Lovely garden area. Spotlessly clean. Surprisingly quiet at night as on a busy road which meant we were central and walking distance to shop, takeaways, bakery etc. Short drive to city and waterfront and Pukekura Park and river walks. Great value! Thank you so much for making our stay most enjoyable."

"Absolutely loved our stay - lovely clean unit and stunning gardens. Unfortunately no opportunity to visit the beach on this visit but could occasionally hear the surf. Highly recommend"

"The apartment felt spacious and clean. The communication was great with owner. Right on the street with cafes, restaurants, and a 4 square, and fish n chip shop. Short drive to the beach. "

"Barbwire Bach has everything you need to enjoy its location with the added bonus of having access to their boxing gym. The kids absolutely loved it. Overlooking Opunake Lake and with the beach an enjoyable 3 minute walk away - or longer if the kids want to climb the pohutukawa trees and play on the playground, I have no hesitation in recommending Barbwire Bach and hope to stay again."
